Does what it says, a lodge for travellers. Comfortable room, clean bathroom with decent shower. Couldn't hear the traffic of the busy roads because it's on the edge of an industrial estate. If people complain about a bit of dust etc then pay more and go somewhere else.

Our friends booked the hotel for us (a family with one kid)
In the pics it looked very well but when we arrived the room had an awful cigarette smell and couldn?t open the window because we were at the ground floor with garbage bin view.
The room was pretty big with a very small electrical radiator. Just because it was really small it was really a BIG problem.
It couldn?t make enough heat to raise the temperature in the room. It was programmed by hours with different temp, it dropped to 18 degrees, couldn?t put it more than 22 (we needed it because the hotel room couldn?t maintain the temp)
At night we had to wake up and manually raise the temperature in the room because it would randomly drop.
More than this, one day it got an error, problem that we reported to reception. By foot by the way because you don?t have a telephone in the room.
We waited like 30-40 min to someone to come and the temperature was constantly dropping and no one came. We figure it out by our self, reset it and announced it again to reception. The lady there was just doing her thing, probably forgot about us and was just glad we worked it out.
We?re never coming here again ?

The hotel is clean and well connected to Northampton and Kettering. Despite having work in Kettering, I stayed here because of the good reviews, and I was not disappointed.
Gemma was super helpful and friendly! Helped me with printing some documents early in the morning. Will be back here if I'm in Northampton again.

Came back to my room thought I cleaned everything got check twice to see if I missed anything and soon as I got home my realised my green and white lv jacket is missing I didn?t use it once when I was in Northampton and don?t know where it could be

It is now a recently refurbished basic Travelodge with obliging staff, super comfy bed and the decor was brighter than our previous visit. It is well placed to visit the Eastern side of Northampton. Book in advance to get a good deal. We use it regularly.

This hotel is very much misleading and the photos post does not correspond to what the actual place is.
So I prepaid for breakfast and come to find out that they don't service full and proper full English breakfast or lunch or dinner thought I was told I will be getting refund for this when I check out
On top of that their vending machine does not work properly. The hallway and room stink and bedding not washed properly.
However their customer service is great.

Wouldn't stay at this hotel again. Very out dated and looks nothing like the photos online. Had to clean the bath, as it was dirty and had bubble bath leaking from the dispenser. The tv is very old and the colour kept going. Doesn't even have free WiFi which is rare now a days. I've worked at a hotel before and the bed was not made correctly at all and the extra pillows where in dirty pillow cases
