Despite contacting them 10 days in advance to tell them I was vegan, there was only a vegan starter on offer. No main and no dessert, ended up with starter and chips, tasteless and disappointing. All our meals arrived at different times so we had to wait and some got cold.

Cannot recommend this pub and the rooms more ? we were on a roadtrip through the UK and stopped here twice because we just had to come back after our first visit.
The rooms are gorgeous, clean and very comfortable, the food is delicious and has many vegetarian offers as well! And the breakfast is fantastic as well. The staff and management are very friendly and put theor guests? comfort above everything. Oh, and their sticky toffee pudding!! To die for!
Should definitely come here and support this lovely pub, missing it already!

New owners doing a great job. It feels like more of a great pub now, but the food is still excellent. One minor issue we had was dealt with brilliantly and swiftly. Highly recommended.

Fabulous Sunday roast - so good to have a full vegi roast option, with all the traditional trimmings (and great pie instead of the meat). Cheesecake was amazing. Great service too.

We all live in the village and enjoyed a brilliant lunchtime meal together! Had a couple of pints with various different dishes ordered. The beef and steak are definitely a go-to, along with the classic burger.
Proud to support our village pub and highly recommend you come down and try this pub under its new management!!!

What an amazing stay in such a beautiful hotel and surrounding peaceful village. Rooms are lovely and very clean, staff are polite and friendly and very helpful. Food was excellent and ample parking. Cannot fault and we will be back very soon as our favourite weekend getaway.

Lovely friendly welcome, let us try different beers to decide. Really nice ploughman's and a club sandwich for lunch. Very tasty. Would recommend stopping by for lunch in the large beer garden.

Some mixed reviews recently, so was a bit dubious. However, food was lovely, clean, tidy, staff were great - Nothing at all to complain about.
If we lived closer we would no doubt go back again.
