My husband and I met the Lewis Foundation when he was in hospital, they came round the ward and offered him a free gift which we were really taken back by. After coming round from my mastectomy at KGH I had one of The Lewis Foundation packs by my bed. To say it was a lovely surprise would be an understatement. I was so touched (and still am) at receiving such a thoughtful gift. My pack contained shower gel, deodorant, lip balm, sanitary towels, underwear and other useful products.... read full comment

From The Lewis Foundation

The Lewis Foundation provides a variety of free gifts free of charge to adult cancer patients who are receiving treatment in hospital. The gifts range from puzzle books, craft packs and magazines. The aim is to take people's mind off thinking about cancer, give people something nice to look forward and to reduce loneliness by spending time with people. We currently visit 17 hospitals across the Midlands.
