We had a work Christmas party at the beginning of December and Poppy was a great help with the decorations, tables and getting everything out on time. The other girls were very helpful as well. The food was delicious, big plates and everyone enjoyed their food.
The only negative I would say is the communication prior to the actual party, the manager isn't great at responding to messages or phone calls in a timely manner. So if you want to organise something, make sure to do it with plenty of time. Other than that it went smoothly.

We booked a large table flour works christmas. The food was nice, big portions, probably a little too big. The service was very good al the way from planning to service on the night.
We had a few glitches with party members being late etc. And we were catered for the best we could be. Thank you for a fun night.

Often quiet but can get busy for events , an often overlooked pub as just out of town. It has a freezing carpark at the side of the pub, friendly staff and a good menu

Came today to have a roast dinner and was not disappointed me and my partner had the roast chicken. It was delicious and a nice sized portion and was all freshly made. The price is worth it and at £16 for a roast dinner is a good price, the pub ran out of dinners pretty quickly so I would suggest booking in advance to save being disappointed. Bar staff were so friendly and also the bar has a very relaxed feel to it. All in all me and my partner will be returning to have a dinner there again.

Heard the Bradlaugh were now doing Sunday lunch so thought would give it a try. Had a fabulous Lemon & Herb roast Chicken. Really tasty, good variety of sides and really well cooked and presented. Small menu but really well done. Good price, at £16, as well. Would recommend :-)

I recently held my partner's 30th birthday at the Charles Bradlaugh, and it was an incredible experience. The venue itself was fantastic?spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for our celebration. Trav, the manager, was especially helpful throughout the entire process, always quick to respond to any queries and making sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a special event.

Had a Sunday roast yesterday, food was lovely, portions were great, could barely finish it and I'm no Kate Moss. The people that work there are really nice and they also happen to have one of the best regulars comedy nights in the country. Free parking as well which is handy.
