“A huge thank you to Catherine at Next Sixfields on Christmas Eve - customer service extraordinaire! Arrived from overseas in the morning and needed a house warming / Christmas gift for a relative - but the Home section of next was covered / closed (I assume getting ready for Boxing Day sales). Catherine asked if we knew what we were looking for, and with some ideas from us, slipped behind the curtain for a minute or two with three options that fitted the brief (in hindsight, very cleverly at different price points as well). She came up with an idea we hadn’t thought of and it was the perfect gift! So much so, we bought two of the item in different sizes. We really appreciated the effort and understanding on Christmas Eve - a day I know when she would have been busy and overrun with plenty of people - just wanted to say thank you for making a difference - and a perfect example of wonderful customer service on one of the busiest days of the year. Thank you Catherine!”

“With no luck in another Office shop ( with no intention to help), I traveled to Northampton hoping for better luck. There wasn't what I needed in this shop either but fortunately there was Mathias, who without any fuss sorted everything out in no time and my daughter' s shoes are coming tomorrow. Definitely will be coming back even if it means to travel extra miles

“I just wanted to say how amazing Leon is I think that was his name Every time I’ve dealt with him, he’s gone above and beyond to help me. He’s professional, friendly, and makes everything so easy. You can tell Leon really cares about doing a great job. Plus, he’s got an absolutely brilliant mullet honestly, best haircut I’ve seen in customer service! It just adds to his awesome vibe and makes the whole experience even better.”

“Good price on some trainers, only second time been in here to buy & both times been in sale, find it a bit expensive otherwise. Edited review: we have been in JD a few times now, as i noticed they are definitely cheaper than what they were, have purchased a couple of adidas tops for both of us, & a few mckenzie t-shirts for the husband. Bought a pair of trainers each yesterday in Northampton, very good price, definitely comparable with sports direct now for same prices, & theres a loyalty card to download as well for cash towards future purchases, but can't comment on that as have not looked at it yet.”

“Couldn't find what I was looking for (seen online) but one staff pointed them out & another got my size in about 2 mins +girl on till was really polite.Been shopping here for 20yrs & never had a problem. Maybe bad ratings are part time/weekend staff? It does seem the Mon-Fri staff are a bit happier than Sat/Sun..Product Diem fishing boots.”
