Passing by... finally a Sainsburysxwhere you can fill up on the way to the store instead of the way out, so you can fill then use the facilities in the superstore to clean your hands after using the fuel pumps

Filled up with fuel this morning on my way to work. Picked up an energy drink and I was asked to provide ID?!?! Bear in mind the legal age to buy petrol is 16 and they served me no problem. The legal age to buy energy drinks is also 16 yet refused to serve me it. Absolutely zero logic. I am fully aware of the think 25 policy but very contradicting to serve me for one thing and not the other when they have the same age restriction. I think the lady who served me needs to have a refresher on her training.

Be careful when paying by card at this petrol station. A double fee was charged to my card for the same service - a vacuum cleaner.

Sainsbury's Northampton still ripping off customers with the price of diesel 9p a litre more expensive than at Market Harborough and Banbury and more expensive than any Sainsbury's in the area.

I only popped in for some medication for a cold. All the l9cal chemists were closed as it was Easter Sunday.The staff were friendly and helpful.

What has happened to this store? I popped in to do some shopping and found the shelves in the meat aisle in the most filthy condition, clearly not having been cleaned in a long while. Meat products being stocked on dirty shelving. The fresh produce aisles were no better, the floors were very dirty with ground in and built up dirt. Produce under the shelving units. The edges of the floors were very dirty showing they had not been properly cleaned in some time. This was built up dirt and not a busy day. It was also midday. I have not seen such a disgusting shop in years. I refused to buy any food products in those areas considering to sheer amount of dirt they were sitting on. Zoom into the photos I have attached to see what I am talking about.
