My friend & I meet here monthly for beer & chat - the service is always welcoming and with a smile, I find the beer very well kept & it is always good to sample a pint of Charles Wells' latest creations in the comfy, characterful bar.Great for dogs and the views in the beer garden are amazing!Last night they went above & beyond as I bought too much beer (I was driving) so he let me take it home in a couple of containers which was very kind.Same time, same place, next month, can't wait!

Stayed just one night on the way home from football. The staff made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Nice choice of drinks, and a very nice bar with a TV. dinner was first class. They couldn't do enough for us. Our room was perfectly acceptable for the price paid. Own entrance to your room, totally separate from the pub and set back from the road. Clean and fresh and a comfy bed. We will return

Stopped overnight and ate dinner in the pub. Jules was lovely, making sure the room was ok. Also served our food and drink.Room was fine, bit cold on arrival, but able to turn up the heater.Food was pretty good too for pub fayre. Enjoyed my pie. Portions not silly large. Had both Taylor's Landlord and the Bedford stout. Have to say they were both excellent. Had many poor pints of Landlord at other pubs. Love the glasses too.Down side? No breakfast, but recommended Granny's in Weedon. 20 mins walk along the canal. A fantastic cafe. Thanks Jules.Rooms: Rooms are in a separate block away from the pub. Basic but perfectly fine for an overnight. Can park right outsideWalkability: The pub is by itself. But easily walkable from Weedon using the canal.

Staying at my Daughter's house in Weedon and had a lovely lunch here today. We were hoping to walk beforehand but unfortunately the weather prevented that plan! The Narrow Boat is the perfect location for walking as it right on the Grand Union Canal and the perfect stop after exploring some of the pretty villages in the area. The menu offers a good choice and suppliers are locally sourced. Our meals were well cooked, tasty and plenty of it! Service was excellent, very friendly staff and we enjoyed our experience and would definitely return. The pub also offers accommodation but I cannot comment on that facility as we didn't see the rooms but if they are the same standard as the pub then I would think you cannot go wrong.Walkability: Perfect for walkers walking The Grand Union CanalNoteworthy details: Also offers accommodation
