Went into Shop today to get a pair of addidas arsenal trainers, 4 workers standing together l asked if someone could help me told all 4 what l wanted one said he couldn't help me as it was gunners trainers and he supported Chelsea, l asked if anyone could serve me and they just stood there so l said looks like you don't want to serve me no one said anything so disappointed as really wanted those trainers will order on line somewhere else

.I give it a star, I don't know why, I've gone to that store many times and bought many things there, both me and my partner, the service is terrible, now if you want to buy clothes you can't try on it, they have a miser fitting room and they have it closed, that is, if you want something, you have to buy it and if you don't like how it fits you, go and return it and wait for the refund to be made whenever it is. Anyway, I hope the new store in the shoping centre will be different.

Good price on some trainers, only second time been in here to buy & both times been in sale, find it a bit expensive otherwise. Edited review: we have been in JD a few times now, as i noticed they are definitely cheaper than what they were, have purchased a couple of adidas tops for both of us, & a few mckenzie t-shirts for the husband. Bought a pair of trainers each yesterday in Northampton, very good price, definitely comparable with sports direct now for same prices, & theres a loyalty card to download as well for cash towards future purchases, but can't comment on that as have not looked at it yet.

I want to share this because I find it?s an all too rare occurrence. I was greeted with a genuine smile, eye contact and a hello before I?d even walked into the Northampton store. I wasn?t bothered while I was browsing but was approached by the same person a little later and he helped me to find hoodies in the style I was looking for. He chatted and was friendly, always smiling and keen to understand how he could help me. I didn?t buy anything on this occasion but he shook my hand and wished me a good day. His effort made a difference to my day. His name was Sergio (?) I think. Keep doing what you?re doing mate, it?s awesome ??

Horrible customer service. I wanted to try on a North Face jacket, so I asked the staff if there was a fitting room. The worker told me there was one and that the door was probably unlocked. I went there but the door was locked. I came back and told her, and she lazily suggested I try on the jacket in the middle of the store with everyone watching. I said no because I was holding my personal items.
She then went to the till to ask for the key, and the guy at the till looked at me and said we don't allow trying on jackets in the fitting room, which is crazy! After that I just left the store. How on earth are you supposed to buy a £200 jacket without trying it on? Horrible service.

The customer service is very bad espically an employee named Lupe?s behaviour toward me was very rude. She was being way too judgemental and based on my colour she thought I couldn?t buy anything and was refusing to help me out. I don?t even feel like giving a single star to this place just because of the behaviour of this lady.
Is this how you discriminate amongst customers ?

I had a really bad experience. I bought some clothes and shoes on Christmas Day and returned them within 7 working days. After returning the items, I waited 14 days for a refund. Today, I went to the store and spoke with the line manager. I cannot express how rude she was; her attitude was completely unacceptable. I believe JD needs to take appropriate action regarding this matter. ???
I will never go to that shop again!

Very poor customer service!
Boyfriend bought me two things from JD Sports and I have had to return two items.
My trainers came dirty and laces different sizes and when we returned them with the RECEIPT and original box my partner was accused of STEALING them even though he had the receipt and proof. It took about 20 minutes for them just to agree to give us a new pair!
Secondly, my jumper came with stains on the upper arm. We went to return the jumper today with the original receipt etc and they have also refused to help with anything! The best they could do is send it back to warehouse and let them decide whether we should get a refund and if not they?re just sending the old one back?!
The staff are rude, accuse you of things you haven?t done and are the most helpless people ever.
I will be taking this further ?

I generally have no issues with JD; however some of their sales assistants can be overly pushy about purchasing shoe polish and other accessories alongside a new pair of shoes. Recently, one male sales assistant (I forgot to catch his name) was particularly unprofessionally persistent (though not outright rude) as he repeatedly insisted that I buy additional items for the shoes I was purchasing. Honestly, it was quite irritating.

The JD Sports sports store in Northampton is located right in the center. The quality and prices are normal, a very large selection of clothes and shoes, the staff is very polite and pleasant
