Joe is awesome. Always on hand to help guide and advise regarding all matters relating to dividends, tax, HMRC, business plans, growth, new staff payroll, and much more. Goes beyond what an 'accountant' usually provides and with his commercial background being in a practice makes him a very uniquely qualified individual. The rest of the team are exceptional as well taking on responsibilities and always trying to help with our queries no matter how tiresome I suspect some of them are.

Been with Steve and the Team at J Sweeney for a number of years, been really helpful since day one , they now help with everything we need , Payroll , Accounts , End of year , TAX etc etc.. Best thing is always just been able to pick the phone to them too..

I was very disappointed with the service I received. James took weeks and weeks to respond to queries. I moved from a sole trader to a limited company whilst using this firm but he did not go through any changes that needed to be made such as to the Xero account, paying dividends and salary etc, he even registered the company to an address in the midlands which was nothing to do with me or the business. It really was one issue after another. He did at one point apologise for the poor service and he put it down to being busy, however, even after the apology nothing improved.

I can't thank JSweeney Accountants enough for high quality service delivery. Steve Thomas my designated accountant has alleviated all anxieties & woes of a messy workload, as a result of the inefficiencies from previous unfinished work undertaken elsewhere. Steve methodically went through all the different variables, constantly communicating with myself and effectively guiding me through legislation and requirements in a simplistic manner. We have been using J Sweeney Accountants for couple yrs now and using Steve Thomas as our accountant since we set up our Morphyandsons ltd road sweeping business. Steve is not only incredibly professional but very knowledgeable on all business areas he continues to save us greatly with our taxes and is on hand to answer all questions he supported and helped us set up the business from the very start J. Sweeney are approachable professional and always available to answer any questions their rates are competitive and we personally wouldn?t use another accountancy firm. Joseph and the team have been undertaking the personal accounts for my wife and I for a number of years. He has also produced accounts for a sole trader business and my wife's LTD company. Joseph never complains about last minute additions, or missing invoices, he just sends present reminder emails or phone calls. Every year he has saved me more tax than his bill costs, so basically works for free.... can't ask any more...thanks Joseph.
