Check is was friendly, quick and easy. Something returning to the room later was the exact opposite of. I still don't fully understand the risk of someone using your hotel who hasn't paid is, but I think a bouncer manning the entrance is beyond overkill. Not only that but they seem to go out of their way to try to prove that I didn't have a valid room key and argued with me over my email confirmation, even though I paid for two rooms! I've used your hotel as a cheap, inoffensive place to crash for a night before, but the treatment I received had completely lost my business. If you want to stay somewhere cheap in Northampton then stay at the Travelodge on Gold Street.

The location was just a few minutes eslk from the train station, which was perfect for me. The facility was easy to locate as it was right there on the road. Breakfast for £12 was an absolute delight too. I enjoyed my stay so much that i used another Ibis in Greenwich when I had a day out with friends in London.Walkability: Close proximity to the train station. Like 4 minutes walk.

I?m so disappointed appointment at your customer service to say the least. Your rooms are extremely cold, there was dust on the two bed side tables? I found a big spider in the bathroom ; on top of all of these you humiliated me only because I made mistakes in the dates for my bookings. You literally threw me out of the hotel room. I wasn?t even given a chance to make the corrections. You were demanding like twice the cost of the hotel room per night, Now after booking to extend my dates the receptionist came telling me his boss says no I have to pay for the night that I did not in the room. When I have training ongoing learning for my exams and this is what you have to take me through. It?s a BIG shame. Wake up guys?this poor customer service is way below the belt.

Stayed here a couple of times now, our first trip went well and the room was fairly good. The second time round, the room was very dirty, so we complained and Sunny came up to see the room, he was really helpful and changed us into a better room. We then had an issue with trains and needed to stay another night Pedro was really helpful and told us the best way to go about it. There was also a girl from cork who was really friendly and helpful. Can't fault the staff.Walkability: Less than a three minute walk from the station and less than a two minute walk to the town centre

I wish I could have given this more stars but unfortunately the first room we were put in was really dirty. There were stains everywhere and cobwebs too, as well as a light not working. However, they quickly changed our room. Also, there was clearly some people smoking weed as the entire third floor stank. However, the staff are really lovely and I want to give a shout out to Pedro and Sunny, who were so helpful and so kind to us.Walkability: Fairly close distance to the town and the train station.
