driver pulled out on me, no indicator when he was at a standstill in traffic and i was going 50. had to slam on brakes and had traffic behind me. was extremely close to going into the back of the lorry. Genuinely not sure how they have a car license yet alone an HGV?

I use Howdens up and down the country and they are always a pleasure to deal with.
Staff here were great on Friday very welcoming and sorted us out in no time... Bloke from stores even helped load the doors on the van with me...

Usually really good service but this time it's been completely appalling and sadly very unprofessional.
As most people know timeframes are important so I measured the kitchen myself, went in, handed over my information, told the gents if we could have two variations. I was told the drafts would be with me within a few days but most likely on the following Monday, they took 11 days to send them over, claiming they'd lost all my details when I chased them. Anyway, after receiving the second variation 4 days later I asked for a quote and here we are 7 days on and still nothing. I'm not even that bothered about the quote because, after a week of no communication you go to someone who values your business, the most frustrating thing is the sheer disrespect to ignore emails and phone calls. When someone takes it upon their busy schedule to send an email and make a phone call if you don't reply it translates as if I can't be bothered because you?re not that important and that pisses me off. I've had six Howdens kitchens in the past, I won't be wasting any more of my time with this second-rate service. Absolutely shocking behaviour

Unwilling to be helpful - Had a couple of Neff kitchen appliances fitted and discovered one didn?t fit the style of the others. As the boxes were thrown out the manager was unwilling to accept a swap for the correct version (as is their right). The manager admitted it was up to their own discretion and refused to find any middle ground for a resolution. While fault lies with us (the customer) for not double checking, the expert designer failed to flag the mismatch in styles.??Judge for yourself whether a one star review is deserved as the requested products were ordered and obtained but to me the level of customer service falls well short of the mark.

Although staff were pleasant a kitchen l had fitted from there 8-10 year ago is failing. There are no replacement doors available now on a product l expected to last at least 25 years. Very disappointing.

Rang store to enquire about pricing and was advised I would need to open an account first. I asked how to do this and was told I needed to visit branch. I requested if an account form could be emailed and was told this had to be completed in person. Drove to store and when I got there was told I needed ID and Proof of Address (which I did not have) and was advised to return home. Rang head office to complain and have still not had a response. Welcome new customer NOT! Although I understand the requirement to deterime trade, surely common sense should prevail, not to mention spreading COVID and the enviornmental impact. Surely Howdens have a duty of care to keep the customers and staff safe as possible Good luck with your secret squirrel pricing Howdens. Guess I will spend my £50k elsewhere lol.
