SCAMFined £100 for charging 27minutes. Went inside with my 2 young kids, said to staff I was charging and asked where the loos were. Staff did not mention I needed to register!!Smarmy responses to the many other complaints saying it?s ?guest responsibility? - having NEVER had to ?register? to use a charger before, it is not a reasonable expectation for users to be on the lookout for the tiny, black and white signs which are hidden by other cars.Are you on the lookout for signs saying you have to ?register or be fined? when you fill up at the petrol station?If this is happening so often the signs are clearly not working so the hotel needs to change their process or invest in a barrier or, just a thought? don?t have a public convenience on your land when you clearly don?t want the users there.Will be following up with Tesla Directly also.

This hotel has instructed its car park operator to send fines to all users of the Tesla Supercharger installed there. Apparently, you can go inside to do something to avoid the fine but there are no accommodations to help a disabled person do this.Noteworthy details: Parking scam at this location.

AVOID - TESLA CHARGING TRAPI got this as my closest Tesla Supercharger option on M1 Junction 15, so drove to quickly charge my car. Few weeks later i received £100 parking penalty. Apparently, unlike so many other Tesla Super chargers, one is supposed to register in the hotel for using the charger. It was dark, so obviously i did not notice any signage with those instructions. I did't think that one would need to do so for charging in the Tesla bay. I appealed the Penalty, explained that I was there to charge my car in the Tesla charger bay (with no intention to park for free) and also included the Charging invoice as proof. They still rejected the appeal! This is ridiculous and doesn?t deserve to be a Tesla Supercharger Host. I will be sending my formal complaint to Tesla Supercharger team.

I visited the Tesla charger a few weeks ago and have received a parking fine. I stopped to charge in the carpark after dark and the signs are not lit. It feels like a deliberate income stream for the hotel. Absolutely disgraceful.

I didn?t go inside the hotel so can?t comment on that, however, as permitted by owning a Tesla, I did use the onsite Tesla charging station and I am now faced with a parking fine of £100.

Tesla charger directs you here and they fine you £100 for staying more than 30mins, they make a % on the charging prices and clearly also supplement their income with huge fines.I spotted the signs mid-charge but apparently I went over by 2 minutes despite finishing early and leaving within time according to my car.Will make an effort to never use this chain and discourage others for doing so.

A very good budget hotel. The bed was comfortable, there were charging sockets right next to the bed (never a guarantee in a Travelodge). Brilliant location with the Harvester opposite and a very easy and well signposted car parking situation. I'll definitely be looking to stay with this chain again.

One v rude reception woman seemed intent on ruining every guests stay as other guests did not look happy either, no idea why bothers to show up to work or is still employed. Charged me twice for 1 nights stay even though I had prepaid insisted that I pay additional preauthorisation which was not in T&Cs &I still havent received it back. I am now having to take extra time out to claim my money back. Would avoid this hotel at all costs

Good cheap option for an overnight stay close to Northampton. Service was great, nice reception area, few things about the room that could be improved but for the price it's worth it.
