Rubbish food
Sauce was like jelly and flavourless.
Spent £50 and was the worst Chinese I?ve had local. Only give me half my money back when I complained. Stale dry reheated chicken. Ribs where days old tasted foul. Avoid !!!

I ordered from Hong Kong Chef Chinese Takeaway in Roade, hoping for a satisfying meal, but it was an utterly disappointing experience. The food was borderline inedible, with no redeeming qualities. The dishes completely lacked flavor, as if the seasonings were forgotten entirely. The rice was stale, clumpy, and tasted like it had been sitting out for days. Worst of all, the curry had an off-putting, unpleasant taste that made it impossible to eat more than a bite. Like another reviewer mentioned, I ended up throwing most of it in the bin after a single mouthful. This was, without a doubt, the worst Chinese takeaway I?ve ever had, and I won?t be returning. Save your money and avoid this place.

Stopped using this place years ago. Tried a couple times, second time we were grabbing some stuff for guests who popped over. Everyone commented how bad it was and chips tasted old.
I wouldn?t have left a review except they annoyed my by acting like they didn?t take card then magically had a card machine appear, then charged me for using a card.
Haven?t seen the delivery driver in ages but he used to race his Yaris around without a care for any one else.
I told my partner not to go to this place before when she moved in to mine. She thought I was over exaggerating, ordered some and chucked it in the bin. Tried the same card trick with her as well.

its amazing that you can make food as bland as that, sure there would be more taste in the tubs it was delivered in..and talking about the delivery well if i didnt see the drivers car i would have assumed it came on the back of an iceland van (frozen) they also charge you £1.80 for a can of drink that turns up with 75p on the can.. sure that's a bit naughty.. pop a mail to trading standards one feels.

1 hour late. Rang after 30 mins late and they said driver was on his way. Could hear other people in the background complaining about the driver. Said they would ring him but didn't ring me to update me on the situation. 15mins later we had a voice message saying he had been knocking on our door for 5 mins. He went to Blisworth instead of Ashton. After 45 mins of being late rang again and they kept saying there is nothing they can do he is on his way, no apology or mention of discount. 1 hour late, driver apologised and gave free packet of cold prawn crackers. Other food was obviously cold too. Driver may not be reliable but no after care as in phone call after they had spoken to the driver and apologising and offering discount etc

I think this was the worst Chinese meal I have ever purchase cant really say eaten because none of it was particularly edible bland tasteless tasted like cheap microwave meals what made it worse was we bought a meal for two plus extras and the whole lot got put in the bin total rip off will never return to this grubby little

We have ordered food a few times now, the service is punctual and the staff are very friendly on the phone and when delivering. The food tasted very good, the size of the meals are very generous, we were quite impressed. Will be enjoying a few take aways from here over the next few years, yum! Thank you to the staff and chefs, exception standards.Kid-friendliness: The staff were polite and friendly when delivering our order.

I ordered 4 servings of vermicelli and the food had NO taste ... just boiled, no spices... in fact, they only put salt, a lot of salt. I couldn't even eat.
