Very Disappointed with Service ? Even as a Premium Member
I booked an air conditioning check with Halfords (St James Road, Northampton) in May 2025. They told me everything was ?perfectly fine,? but I still asked them to fill the AC gas. For about two months, it worked, but then the AC stopped working again.
I booked another appointment for today at 9:00 AM. When I called at 2:00 PM to check, they told me to come at 5:00 PM instead. When I arrived, they said they couldn?t find the problem and simply suggested I go to another workshop.
I am one of their premium members, and even then, I received this kind of treatment. If this is how they deal with premium customers, I can only imagine the experience for others. Very disappointed with the lack of proper diagnosis and professionalism from such a big company. I will not be recommending them.

Took my bike in to get a puncture handled, Ellis the gent who served me was quick and efficient and very polite, great service couldn't have asked for better, was literally in and out in 20 minutes.

I ordered and paid for three new tyres to my car . Halfords came out and only fitted two and said i would be refunded the other tyre that they did not fit . But they have never refunded me. I will never use them again

So got sent to national tyres over the road which Halfords owns, got told my car is unsafe to drive and a load of stuff to sort out, and that they didn?t want the liability to potentially take my car apart and sort it out so I went to a different garage to get them to check it and they said this would pass it?s MOT fine, and that the car does have issues but it?s nothing so big that would cause it to be unsafe. Very unhappy with Halfords and will be cancelling my premium membership with them?
