Friendly helpful family business with very good quality comprehensive range of tools and equipment at very competitive prices.I saved £27 on a Wolfgarten anvil adjustable tree lopper compared to prices at other local garden centres. Well where can I start....took a rotavator in as it wouldn't start, cost quite a bit for the repair that 'never worked'. Sorry to say I didn't learn my lesson or I might have just given them a second chance not sure however...Took a hedge trimmer in as I had trouble starting it and I had only had it a short while, remembered what they had said about not leaving fuel in for a long period so we let it run until the tank was empty before putting away. We had put on a new fuel line and filter and that didn't solve the issue and that is when I booked it in, works great but I was billed for amongst other things a fuel line and filter...well I suppose you have to make money wherever you can. I called today to ask if they have a Stihl HLA 56 CORDLESS LONG-REACH HEDGE TRIMMER + battery + charger and sales person was busy so left my number to call me back...that was at 10.28 and it is now 12.06 so, Just going to pick up my new Stihl HLA 56 CORDLESS LONG-REACH HEDGE TRIMMER + battery + charger but not from Garden Machines!

Purchased mulching kit for stihl fs460. Contrary to what was stated on website ( comes with all fittings ) it cane without necessary bits to fit it on the machine.I?ve wasted time and money. I don?t recommend them. One good thing and that?s one star is their communication - at least that.

Really helpful staff. I don't know anything about mowers but was guided and advised about the pros and cons of each type. Got a great price on the mower and they even put it together for me and took it to my car. Highly recommended.

Ordered my 5 year old a trailer for his tractor on the 15th December as he'd asked for it for christmasI got an email on the 19th saying it had been despatched by DPDI've been checking the tracking ever since as it never arrived and the tracking stated that a tracking number had been made but no item has been recieved by themI emailed them yesterday enquiring about it and recieved an email this morning saying it had been lost in transit so they have given me a refund.. no offer of replacement but upon receiving this email I found another email from them on the 21st stating that they must have sold the item I'd ordered from the warehouse and the stock hadn't been updated so would I like a refund, a replacement or a digger with an added cost on top..I asked for a replacement as it's what my son had asked forTo now be told they've given me a refund because they can't order anymore inI just think this company is full of lies. If you're going to be a liar then be a good one and remember what you've said previously instead of giving me 2 different excusesI now need to find another from elsewhere as my son thinks santa had left it in his workshop by accidentSo thank you Garden Machines LTD!And just to add, why would I want to pay extra for a digger when I ordered a sprayer trailer for his tractor? That doesn't even make sense

I completely agree with all the five star reviews for this company, BUT, only when you?re buying from them. My experience has been that I was completely fooled. As soon as there is any form of problem the cracks start to appear. You?re told that they can?t deal with this as they?re part of the web team? lie. You?re told they will ring you back after they?ve spoken to the manager - lie, there isn?t a manager. You wait, but received no reply. You contact them again, you get more lies. Eventually after an exasperating wait of a couple of days to resolve an issue you ask to speak to the manager, but you?re told there isn?t really a manager just the managing director.So you ask to speak to the managing director and you?re told ?oh no he?s a very busy man?. Yes I too am a very busy man and I?ve been waiting two days for a reply from you. What you receive then is childish and infuriating cheek from this previously lovely sales person, and finally you?re told that their position is ?they don?t need to do anything?.So they?ve kept you waiting for two days when they have no intention of doing anything about resolving the problem or giving you any advice, they are just too busy speaking sweetly to the next mug and taking their money.Non existent customer service! Just cheap rate secondhand car salesman tactics from this ?con artist? company.I?ve contacted another company that doesn?t have such a high number of dissatisfied customers. They said they?ve heard all this before and explained that the damaged item supplied by garden machines could be easily repaired by myself with replacement parts for a few pounds.By the way most of the things they say they have in stock they don?t, they have to order them and you?re expected to wait without knowing that, just one more lie!

Well my old electric hedge trimmer from B&Q was done for. So called up and spoke to Alice. Third generation grand daughter of the original owner who was so polite, friendly and knew a great deal. She talked through options. So I reserved a new Stihl hedge cutter. Got down there and was greeted by Alice. We laughed and enjoyed trying different products just to make sure I made the right choice. She checked the box had all relevant parts. She let me try a demo version too. She then registered the warranty and I parted with the money. Fair price, over and beyond service and left feeling very happy with my purchase. Great family business. Tim from Earls Barton.
