We got there in plenty of time to order breakfast but the queue was so long the cut off had passed by the time we got to the tills. Not perturbed, we ordered and I ordered a fish finger baguette. This came out totally cold. I took it back and spoke to the manager who just said "we will order you another". So, second one came which was only marginally warmer and still unpleasant. So my husband took this back and spoke to the same manager. His attitude was appalling. He spoke to us with utter contempt. He gave us a refund for my meal but when putting it back on the card gestured to my husband and said very aggressively "go on then". Not only are they rude and insincere, but serving uncooked or not properly cooked food I'd a real health hazard. We spoke to a manager in the garden center but we haven't had a reply back. The whole experience of going out for lunch and treating ourselves to some plants was ruined. We walked out in disgust. YOUR RESTAURANT STAFF NEED TRAINING IN HOW TO COOK FOOD AND HOW TO INTERACT WITH CUSTOMERS WHO ARE PAYING THEIR WAGES. WE WILL NEVER RETURN.”
