Would avoid this CeX at all costs so highly rude not professional at all treats you like a child and speaks to you like one to, and I?m pretty sure you shouldn?t be kissing and cuddling your partner behind the desk when your meant to be working!! There is 1 guy in particular who should not be working in this job a smile wouldn?t kill him! Or maybe should wait until him and he?s partner get home before playing tonsil tennis :)

Poor experience. I took a brand new (sealed) pair of Apple AirPods into the store to sell. Agreed a price and they asked me to open the sealed packaging so they could test the product and they would send the money into my account within 24 hours. I hadn?t heard anything for 72 hours so decided to contact CEX via email for an update. They responded and told me that they were going to take 25% off of the agreed price as I had been misquoted. I explained that the only reason we had opened the packaging was because we had agreed a price and signed a contract subject to the AirPods being in working order. They insisted that I collected the AirPods as they wasn?t willing to offer me the original signed contract price and that there was nothing they could do. After 9 days of back and forth via email and with me having to get trading standards involved I finally managed to get them to agree to £10 less than the price that was
originally quoted as I was getting annoyed at the coming and going and even when they had realised that they were in the wrong with tradings standards still didn?t want to do anything. Would not recommend.

Took box of items from the drop and go service at Weston favell branch and Was told would be next day or so to look at them so hardly going to be next day payment as they claim when using this service. Then got phone call saying all bar one failed and the price offered was now lower also. Clearly the lazy person didnt even test anything as they were working when i took them there and when i got home worked. I complained and was told to post them to cex. Funny they all passed straight away. Utter lazy morons who have no clue how to even test and clealry are eithet untrained or didnt even bother apart from putting failed sticker on the item. Total waste of time back and forth on emails and 2 weeks later they offer useless £10 voucher that still dont make up for wasting my time and the so called regrade of my items.

Music was very loud and off putting, made it hard to communicate and understand, especially when hard of hearing. Customer service was unprofessional and slow. Conversations were interrupted multiple times, as staff were chatting amongst themselves, including swearing at each other. None of the selling process was explained, there is a new step every two minutes, making it very difficult and extremely frustrating. Would not come here again, I had an easier experience selling old tech on Facebook Market place. (And it took half the time)

Took a sony a7ii last week,they told me it will have to be checked and how much I will get for it and email me when ready So I waited a week and nothing so went into the shop, they told me the view finder was all blurry and could not be fixed so gave me it back. I had tested it before trying to sell to them all Ok ,so took it home to have a look at it. Put the lens on switched it on and the view finder worked ,everything worked .so I went back to show them but they were adamant it was not working and quite rude (made me feel I was selling them crap) WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN..

I went in to get a SSD that was showing in stock online, the cashier took 2 seconds on the computer to tell me not in stock, I then checked the website again and it shows 5 other ssd in stock cashier then told me there is no SSDs and instead of checking the actual stock, then proceeded to tell me the online site might not be up to date, I don't think someone will buy 5 ssds of different makes and brands in the space of a day, they couldn't be bothered to look at the shelf's as when I walked out there was multiple ssds on there, please hire staff that actually want to help than fob people off to order online when the online site does not work clearly.

Generally bad experience.
Took a device in on Wednesday, was told it would take a couple of hours to test and I would receive the funds by today 3 days.
Went in today to find out what going on as no funds have been paid, they hadn?t even tested my device, was told when I got there they were just finishing the test and I would receive the money today, emailed CEX, facebooked and twitter, no response, the only response I had was from an email I sent on Thursday saying that they couldn?t see the device had been processed and they would contact the store,
Generally awful experience, they have my device and have had it for 3 days, over £700 in value and still no payment! Clearly the feel it?s ok to take your item and pay when ever they feel like it, ridiculous is all I can say.
Would advise anyone wanting to use a trade in service to avoid CEX as clearly their process is very poor and the information given in store is very inaccurate.

Don?t sell your consoles at CeX wanted to sell my Xbox 360 and they said the disk drive working although 2 days prior I tested the Xbox and it was working perfectly

Really overpriced second-hand games. It is cheaper most of the time to get online. Shop workers are miserable as sin.
