Amazing value for breakfast

Lunchtime birthday treat - we all ordered from the main menu (confirmed by server when ordering) I had the smothered chicken melt @ £15.49 but it was more like a covered budgie! Such a tiny portion of chicken. I think my plate must have been mixed up with the neighbouring table who had ordered the same but from the light lunch menu @ £7.99 - theirs appeared much larger than what I had been served :(
Was so disappointed as I left still feeling hungry! Should have queried and complained but as it was a 91st birthday celebration I did not want to make a fuss and spoil the day.
Not sure I will rush back for another meal and if I do I'll certainly be complaining if not acceptable!

Booked a table for 12, and after we had ordered, they told us they had supply issues . The meals all looked like they had been made smaller, yet they still charged full price when they shouldn't even be doing food if they can't supply the correct meals. Over £300 spent when it was only worth half that amount.

Never seen staff work so hard on new years day excellent customer service

Went here tonight with my family, my mum is gluten intolerant severely. When ordering we made absolute sure that the waitress was aware that gluten is an absolute no for my mums meal. We were all served pretty quick however, missing sauces and general presentation wasn?t great. After eating out main meal, my mum was double checking what she had eaten on the menu vs what she had just eaten. There was a sausage included in her meal that wasn?t on the menu. The sheer panic and upset caused by this as usually most sausages contain gluten, I spoke to the waitress where she said she would go and ask the chef. We were sat not far from the kitchen and saw that the chef went into absolute panic when asked if the sausages were GF. They found the packet for the sausages and LUCKILY they were GF but, this goes to
Show that the staff are NOT trained properly on allergens. Would not recommend for people with allergens atall.
Dietary restrictions: Do not even attempt if you have any allergies, the staff are NOT trained correctly.

Asked for a quiet table with wheel chair access & all was supplied to our satisfaction. Service was attentive, but not intrusive & the food was good, despite the restricted menu.

We booked a table for seven, (3 children) on 27/12/24. No pancakes, one crumpet, no berries, no muffins. A very disappointing visit for the children.
On the positive side the waiter, Jonathan, was incredible. He was greeting people, taking orders, delivering orders, filling up the buffet and clearing tables, whilst still being cheerful. Only one member of staff doing this was unfair to him. Large parties having booked in with families made his job even harder. We have been in other Beefeaters for breakfast with more staff on, fewer patrons and tables still left dirty.
Jonathan deserves a raise or a bonus.

Went there yesterday for Christmas dinner
The food was undercooked and massively disappointed as been there previous years and it was very good.

Waiting time was dire, food quality was substandard. I have eaten at Beefeater in Worksop many times with absolutely no issues. This was my first and last visit to Northampton Beefeater, I only went there because I live in Wellingborough and we don?t have one anymore.
Just very very poor.

Arrived to be told limited menu due to a flood in the warehouse , when we seen the menu they seemed to have all the more expensive items?! Ordered a fillet steak and mixed grill , fillet steak was tough and more rare than medium , mixed grill had 2 eggs one of them you wouldn?t of served as broken so asked for another one , which they did , the triple cooked chips where not the usual ones , a cheaper version, food wasn?t particularly hot , order 2 mint sundaes , which were ok however the chocolate sauce was caramel sauce! When we queried this, waitress said yes we have ran out! What a shambles in the run up to Christmas , won?t bother again , waste of time and money .

Roast dinner dry as though it had been under heat lamps for a long time. Really disappointing. Polar opposite of last year. Sorry guys it?s put me off.

Beefeater are having supply issues with food. We were given an extremely reduced menu with less than a quarter of the usual items actually available.
The extremely young staff didn't seem to care. It was a take it or leave it attitude. They gave us some mumbled excuse about a gas issue at the warehouse causing the problems. Quite honestly they didn't seem to believe it either.
I am concerned that I have Christmas Day Lunch booked with them and there may not be any food available by then.
Not recommended until they get themselves sorted out.
