I stopped in for a portion of chips and expected something simple done well. Instead, I was given the leftovers from the fryer basket ? barely filling the box, stone cold. When I mentioned it, they just microwaved the same chips and handed them back, now lukewarm and Flaccid.
I asked for a fresh portion, but was told the kitchen had stopped serving, something that would have been useful to know before taking my money so I could have gone elsewhere. No refund was offered, just take them or leave them.
For the price and the setting, I expected a bit more care and basic customer service. A fresh box of chips isn?t too much to ask. Disappointing, and not somewhere I?ll be recommending.

Arrived today 10.30am for breakfast and it was closed , 2 members of staff sat out side waiting for manager to turn up with keys, they said he be there at 11am, waited till 10 past and left , went to Overstone Manor instead , much better

Disappointed to travel very much out of our way to find you closed on a Monday despite your Google and 'website' page saying you are open every day between 10-4.

Found their food fan (Street Food, red sign...) At the Yorkshire Wartime Experience 2025...great choice! The BEST rolls, both bacon & egg and bacon & sausage - freshly, well cooked, very tasty, well-cooked ingredients and generous portions, with lovely chips! Would have orderrd again, but we were full! Well worth having!

My second time visiting here, and the first with one of my boys. Very welcoming place for motorcyclists, the cooked breakfast was delicious, coffee was served in a nice big mug, and the atmosphere is very calm. Always seems to be aircraft out on the airfield and being flown, to enjoy as a spectator. Highly recommended.

We the wheel nutters meet every first Tuesday of each month with our classic and vintage cars. We go to the pilots mess for food the staff are great. Friendly and very welcoming . The food is great although I've 9nly had my favourite ever time sausage and roll. Absolutely awesome. 10/10
