Great value for the price. We stayed for 2 nights earlier this month. The three of us and our dog took 2 rooms. Somehow the management forgot to make the necessary accommodation for our dog. Front desk staff, Annesha, was more than helpful. She even provided us a list of local eateries. We loved the Kino Lounge in town. Annesha checked on us several times to make sure we settled in.

Stayed here overnight to attend a funeral close by and was disappointed. There was no soap in the bath, no towel mat for the floor after getting out the bath/shower and only one hand towel for two people. There was a thick layer of dust behind the tv and took 3 tv remotes before we got one that worked. The room also only had 2 tea bags. These are all basic housekeeping and room prep, which should have been checked before guests checked. There were more tea bags and coffee at reception. However, when I went to get some, there was only 1 tea bag left, and nobody was at reception. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfy. The location wasn't great either. If you wanted to have dinner or drinks you had to drive due to it being behind a motorway service station. Don't get me wrong there was plenty places to eat within a 10min drive. I wouldn't stay here again. I'd rather pay more and get better accommodation.

I got to the reception desperate for the toilet. Reception wouldn't let me use the toilet before I checked in. I had to go and use toilets at the fuel station. The same reception had the audacity to try n smile and be nice to me afterwards. I got to my room. I hate the new look. I had no chair to sit on! Didn't bother coming down to the reception to ask for one!!

Spacious and rural location with trees, the walk from the bus stop (Broadway & Headlands) is 1 mile, which has a variety of scenes; firstly suburban individual houses, secondly a river with cascades weir, thirdly a bridge over the train tracks, fourthly a bridge over a 6 laned road called the A14, fifthly wooden steps down and a trail along the A14, which looks like a motorway.
