Just wanted to weigh in slightly as i think it's well deserved.
We stopped on the boat at the moorings over the road and deceided to drop in for some dinner.
The food was absolutely fantastic and the portion sizes were spot on.

Had a lovely meal here with friends, the service was great and very accommodating with our requests. They have a good menu, the pulled pork loaded chips went down well with the group . They have a good car park however it was full, but I could park on the road next to it which was good. Highly recommend a visit

The gammon tasted of pig just taken from the farm it also tasted smoked, took time chewing it ,chips were chunky chips but the peas were good

Very clean. Friendly staff. Good service. Waited about 20 mins for food which considering it's fresh we was well happy. Lovely food. Glasses sparkle. We will return.

Stopped off for some refreshments whilst in a cycle ride on a very hot day. I wasn?t going to have anything to eat but whilst my drink was being served I had a peruse of the menu and couldn?t resist steak and mushroom ciabatta and chips.
Great service from the staff and the sandwich was delicious.

What a fantastic pub! Nestled right by the river, this spot boasts a truly brilliant location with absolutely great views. It's the kind of place where you can relax and soak in the surroundings. Beyond the scenery, both the food and the service were second to none ? truly exceptional. I can't recommend it enough!
