Visited the Kettering store on Saturday, rubbish customer service from the staff upstairs they was too busy chatting to each other rather than assisting the customers and when I actually asked for help I got sighed at! When I reported this to the checkout staff she just said OK.
Rubbish customer service all round!

Cheap cheerful most importantly safe I go for work cloths staff always friendly easy to park and always clean. I would like to remind reviewers on google that this is not a shoe shop it is a sports shop which sells a large variety of items and NOT just shoes....
Secondly this is a cheap shop if you are wanting the professionalism of a named branded shop YOU WILL BE PAYING MORE which as you are shopping at sports direct you know there is a compromise in staff quality in order to get products at the price they sell. As for the staff.... Well the customers i see in this store are far from polite towards them and CUSTOMERS seem to have a stunted vocabulary when addressing staff members. Ultimately your the product of your own environment.
Please be polite as the staff are doing there job, alternativly go else where and pay extra.... As most would rather complain and take the cheaper price

The worst attitude I have noticed today and received from one of their staff today, for more than 17 years living at Kettering.
The upstairs girl was racist and very rude and escaping from helping me.
I was very disappointed and I will avoid going to shop from there.

Staff very helpful and polite when I recently bought a pair of trainers. Store is well stocked and tidy. Must say that the first floor needs a good scrub though due to muddy looking splodges near one of the seating areas! Excellent customer service though.

Staff friendly and helpful, store was flooded with new stock and many new items hadn't yet got a Sports Direct price tag on and it became frustrating having to ask for a few different items.This store needs to move to a bigger unit instead of being so crammed in and having to break your neck to see the top racks!!Shop is clean and as far as Sports Direct stores go, this one is always reliable and the staff always willing to help!

Went today to buy two pairs of trainers found what I wanted stood around waiting for some staff one girl was packing something a til but seemed not interested put shoes back on shelf and went to leave there was another member of staff standing at door chatting I asked him he said only one member of staff on the shoes shall I go find him ITS A BLOODY SHOE SHOP ONE MEMBER shall not return

I bought a pair of Karrimor boots from here online in September 2022 both of the soles have fallen off by July 2023. Poor Quality Products, they weren't cheap boots either!

Brought a few items today that were the wrong size, so I had to return to get the correct size. This was all in the space of 10 minutes. Changing room had no lights in either of them, and the curtain was ripped, and no staff member around to ask about this, so I used my phone light. Got to the tills and only one person was serving, there was an issue with my receipt as the cashier didn't scan everything properly the first time, so the queue behind me was getting longer, the man had to call for help as he wasn't sure what to do and another person came over, I found him to be condescending to the man at the counter and he didn't even stay to help with the queue or even acknowledge the people waiting and call someone else over. I finally managed to change my items over (queue is about 5 deep now) and was informed that they don't offer refunds, only credit notes, I think Sports direct are missing a trick here!! Wasn't great to hear as the items were still in original packaging, and I only had them for 10 minutes. I just needed correct sizes. I felt really bad for the person on the till and feel there is a lot more the company/managers can do to support there customers and staff. Not a great visit and now I have a credit note after a loss in confidence from them
