Sadly I did not find this charity shop very charitable. My 2 year old daughter is potty training and needed the toilet while we were browsing in this shop. The very unfriendly staff member would not allow her to use the staff toilet simply shouting "its health and safety" while I understand there are rules I found this a little unkind and I'm sure if my daughter had messed on the floor that would also of been a health and safety issue. Charity begins at home.

Sense is a charity shop situated on the corner at the top of the pedestrianised main area of Kettering. It has quite a large window so a good area to display items to catch peoples eye. It is a bit hit and miss because sometimes the displays are really eye catching, such as a huge handbag display, but other times it just looks like a lot of old junk! The shop itself is not any different from any other charity shop and it is not really very big inside, but they sell the usual clothes, bags, books and bric a brac. The staff are very helpful and friendly though and I have managed to pick up a couple of handbag bargains for £1 each which I spotted from the window. If you are looking for somewhere to park, there is free parking at Montagu Street for half an hour if you can manage to get a space!
