A quiet branch by all accounts but the fact that they still have tellers is a big plus in my books hopefully it stays this way even with reduced hours

I tried a few times to try and set up a standing order (SO) using the new Santander app even though the instructions are very easy to follow. However, it warned at the end that it may not have been successful so I had to go into the branch to ask them to set it up. Kind of defeats the object of online banking but to be honest I prefer going to a bank if I need to. The cashier was welcoming and very helpful. Although they were unsure why the app did not work they were able to set up the SO for me immediately. Couldn't ask for smoother customer service carried out with a smile. Thank you.

We've been using Santander in the past 10+ years we are very pleased with the customer service, mobile app and online services. I guess staff approach is different in every branches and banks.

I rang up about my card being cancelled went into the branch and they couldn?t help much so then said come in tomorrow and see if we can order you a card still couldn?t do nothing so they told me to ring the mobile on the online banking app so I did I?ve had rang the mobile banking app about 4 times this week and always been problems apart from today it was working and they cancelled my card for no reason I won?t be coming here again

Came in today about 1pm was lovely and quiet. Very tidy inside. The lady that served me was polite and helped me straight away. Wasn't in there for long and everything got sorted. The staff seemed lovely. Had no issues at all. I was going to go after work yesterday but seen the hours are reduced due to not much foot fall now which is understandable.

For me personally it is a Great bank because of the ease of access using my card abroad as I travel a lot every yearBUT MY NEAREST BRANCH IS 10 MILES AWAY

Appalling customer service; some staff are blatantly rude and disrespectful, in addition to being incompetent. The manager leads by example and a very poor one it is; her behaviour has been worse than anyone else's, so it seems there is a toxic culture here that is going unchallenged based on the comments other people have made.

Worst than poor customer service, staff are rude and unhelpful furthermore in doing the bank's bidding putting customer's funds at risk. Refused to pay cheques in at the counter instead wrote the account and sort code on the cheque and put them under the keyboard, refused to give a receipt. Don't expect to talk to anyone it takes 30 minutes to get through. Unsurprisingly complaints were not available as 'they were too busy', the call back never happened. The highlight of the day was the joke playing on the recorded message about being courteous to staff........... albeit its perfectly okay for them to be rude to customers.

More like a public toilet than a bank! Who designed the interior??Cold unwelcoming with no customers and no staff visible. After a long wait someone appeared from interview room... Awful awful awful...It is the first time I have seen this branch actually open. Times on door are rubbish and sometimes the branch does not open at all with no notice! Photos taken 3pm Friday afternoon!!! Empty!!!!

Previously reviewed as a 5 star.Sadly, there's now only one good member of your staff left now.Branch is regularly closed without notice owing to "exceptional circumstances." Despite being assured this is an 'unusual occurrence', this was my experience on the last 4 visits.Regard the displayed opening hours as a work of fiction.All business from the family being transferred elsewhere, where reliable service is found.
