Been with Nationwide for years, had no issues, but just recently because Nationwide didn't do as I requested, I am now unable to access my money. My opinion of what was a 5 star rating has now dropped to 1.

I visited the Kettering branch earlier today as I needed to change my account. Lovely to be able to have face to face, very rare these days. I was attended to by a lovely lady called Masala, she was outstanding. Polite, helpful, considerate and very informative . She answered all my questions, explained step by step what she needed to ask me and the transaction was done very quickly and easy. Thank you so very much. Nationwide please do not change, wonderful customer service.

Been a Member Of Nationwide Since 2003, I personally will Not Go anywhere else For my Banking Requirements.On the Rare occasion there has been an issue Nationwide are Fantastic at resolving any issues that may arise.Even a few years back when I opened up a New Account. Been super Helpful, Nothing is too much trouble and above all Nationwide Make you feel Very Valued to be a Member.This is not a Bank Remember, Nationwide is a Building Society. So pretty Different.I will Proberly be With Nationwide Until the end of time. That's quite something to say as well. But that shows also a Great level of Trust also.Keep up the Great work Nationwide.

I have been with Nationwide since I was 14yrs old. (50 yrs). I have always recieved excellent help and service. From both the Corby and Kettering branch. Nothing has been to much trouble.

Would not recommend using nationwide. They will lock your account and not let you take any of your OWN money which you work for out of the bank but say if your on benefits then you can take your benefits out of the bank it?s a joke. They have had my bank account locked for 3 days( no access to any of my money) I?ve sent loads of emails and tried ringing but they are really not bothered about helping me at all. I?ve even been into the Kettering branch but they got their manager and the manger was very rude about it all. So if you want to not be able to access your bank then go ahead and use these but if you want your money to be safe then avoid nationwide at all costs. Robbing c*n*s

Like walking back in time, a hopeless front desk of 3 people that can't do anything apparently & big queues with only 1 or 2 desks open.

A friend who is trying to get her aging and unwell parents cared for, has been blocked from their funds (even though she has power of attorney for her dad and her has it for her mum. They have said (with NO proof) that the think she is up to no good! I know here and wheat she has been through with her parents and now with Nationwide making things worse. She has spent hours on n the funds is illegal and hurting the family. I strongly urge all who read of their practises to withdraw their funds before they keep them when you need them. Our friends and family have done so.

Had an issue with my card, spoke to a girl on the phone (Charlie I think her name was? ) who was very polite and helpful advised me I could report my card lost which wouldn?t affect my Apple Pay etc and saved me driving into town

Just been in to open a new account and they saw me there and then within 45mins I had my new account.. not like other places there they book u an appointment 2 weeks later!! Opened my account via facetime telephone banking (they have a private room dedicated to this where u get privacy and talk to a human all be it over a computer screen).. everything was explained to me in a way I could understand and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service I received.. the man at front desk was also very helpful and helped me straight away.. 10-10
