Recently had car fully serviced with Volvo who told me all okay except rear brakes needed replacing or else MOT would fail.
Then booked in with HiQ for rear brake pads replacement and MOT on the same day. Dropped the car off and a few hours later they call me up to say they have failed the MOT due to the rear brake pads and that they are embarrassed to say they don't have the equipment to replace the brake pads.
I then go to pick the car up and I'm made to pay for the MOT that they'd just failed me on because they couldn't do the thing I'd booked them in to do! Absolute waste of time and money, now have to get brake pads replaced somewhere else as well as another MOT

I came here due to a friend?s recommendation and wow? what an awful experience. I had a slow puncture and was unsure if it was repairable. Whilst i was able to get booked in relatively quickly, i can now see perhaps why they were so empty. I was told my tire was unrepairable and it would cost me near £200, also being told my tires are rare/hard to find with none in the country. With this bad news i decided to get a second opinion (and wow i?m glad i did ??) I know how these places can be AND the fact i?m a young woman does lower my trust in people. After visiting a second garage, i was told my tire could be easily repaired within an hour!!! Absolute joke. Avoid at all costs - just trying to make some quick money!!! ???

Called them at 16:45 as had puncture coming off the A14 nearby, took me in and had me back on the road by 17:15. Excellent service and price.

Very helpful, repair done within allocated time scale, price given before work was carried out,
Friendly staff, safe place to keep car overnight, ideal place for me to get car done when needed as it's not far from my place of work,
This garage was recommended to me, and I'd definitely recommend it to my friends. Maybe not the cheapest place around, but it does give honest, reliable advice and service.

After bringing my car into HiQ Kettering for 3 tyres, the service was that good I have returned with some new wheels needing tyres for my camper conversion.
Knowing nothing about what?s best Karl and Stuart explained every option available and what the best option for my vehicle and its use. 5 stars doesn?t seem enough, I for one will not be going anywhere else in the future.

Fantastic service. We were in a bit of a tough spot with a slow puncture, couldn?t repair the tyre but managed to replace the tyre at good value in about 20 minutes. Friendly reception & fast efficient work.

Don't come here for am MOT they don't know what they are doing. Used to come here years ago and they were top notch but I think the tester they had then must have left because whoever is doing it now doesn't know old cars at all.
They failed me on loads of things I knew weren't even real problem and didn't exist. They basically told me to scrap the car because the list of stuff was so long but I took it somewhere else and they couldn't find half the problems and fixed a few things that should really be minors and passed it no problems. The car never misses a beat, doesn't leak, doesn't smoke, no unexpected noises and nothing out of character for it's age but these guys at hiQ didn't wanna know, just wrote it off the moment it rolled into the shop and made up a load of stuff to justify the failure. They should loose their licence.
