36 Gold St“Still a sensibly priced charity shop offering a good selection. As someone who visits charity shops ( by choice) regularly over the years i have become aware that most charity ,although selling donated goods, are regularly charging a hefty price for what is basically second hand goods. £4.50 for a Primark t shirt when they are £6 from Primark new. I have actually seen a new simple white t shirt with original price labels still attached stating £4.99 with a charity shop label of £5!! Come on charity shops - surely pricing goods cheaper will move stuff on quicker making room for newer stock. I have seen the same stuff on the rails for weeks not selling because of inflated pricing.”
“I don't understand the 2 star review; very friendly staff, good prices, surprisingly large array of items to buy considering the small size of the shop!I can't fault this place, and it definitely deserves better than the previous review! ?”
“Age Uk cared for my dad for the last week of his life. The care each one of the carers gave my dad was impeccable. He was cared for with Dignity and empathy and nothing was too much for them. As a family we was treated with empathy too. Myself and my family will never be able to thank the carers enough. Keep doing what you do, you are amazing and it was an absolute pleasure meeting each and everyone of you. Much love ❤️”
“It is always a pleasure to visit the Salvation Army on the charity shop trek, very friendly and cheerful staff. A good selection of new and used CDs and Blu-Ray films. And best of all, great prices. See you again soon ?”
