Went on Bank Holiday 25th August 2025 at approx 11am. Shop was not busy. 2 members of staff were at back of store chatting to 2 friends. A man asked for help finding a product and one of the staff vaguely pointed towards the front of the store. She did not offer to go with him and brushed him.off curtly and immediately resumed her conversation with the other 3 people. I spent some time trying to find something and in desperation asked the other member of staff - again I was dismissed with a vague wave of the hand and pointed towards one of the aisles which actually was not the correct place. I returned to the bunch of giggly staff/friends with a question and the friend actually rolled her eyes at me and the member of staff. At this point I was so upset I left the store without finding what I was looking for. On my way back to my car around 30mins later the same quartet were outside the store chatting and smoking - I presume the staff were now on a break ! Tbh the lady on the till was very pleasant and had I been her I would have been annoyed at being the only one actually doing any work.

I'm a type 1 diabetic and went into the shop to buy a sugary drink as my sugar levels were falling. The cashier gave me her chair to sit on and offered me water etc and the security guard was talking to me ensuring I was ok. They were both so helpful and caring, I genuinely cant rate them high enough. What a fantastic couple of B & M employees. Thank you so much

Lady at the checkout kept wipeing her nose against her hand while serving people on the checkout, if she's ill all she's doing is spreading it. Also on the same visit I heard one of the managers referring to the customers as idiots while talking to another colleague
