As far as diy shops go this one is ok.... not the biggest or best but local and has pretty much everything you need for small improvements fixes..... decent power tool section and good for general tools... garden centre also big... lighting section and home furnishings are small and limited.

Followed around the whole shop by security like I?ve stolen something. Turn my back when I?m looking at something on the shelf, turn around the security guard is peaking his head over the isle watching me like a spy. All of that to buy some £2,50 pens ?

Visited to get some curtain hooks and explained to Sarah, one of the customer service advisers, what was required as I had a little problem with the walls. I was shown an alternative option that resolved the issue effortlessly! I have been to this branch many times as I was redecorating and everyone has always been super helpful with advice! Excellent customer service. Thank you!

Visited Tuesday (10/9) night around 7pm,
Not many people or staff around so we happily found what we needed & headed to the tills,
Unfortunately for us we were served by Sarah,
We didn't get a hello or any kind of mutter or customer service from her, she seemed more interested in another staff member & security who were sorting taped up solar lights,
We thought ok let's just let them get on with it, after scanning our items I thought the price was a little high on the counter screen so mentioned that & still not a mutter from Sarah, me & my partner spoke it over & I said OK I know where I misunderstood the pricing & ask to to pay, we weren't give a price from her only what we could see on the screen.
Finally we got a grunt from Sarah as she mentioned the receipt.
I get near to closing time staff can be tired etc but this was plain rude!
No interest or interaction & to be ignored while she's trying to watch 2 other male staff members isn't great for customer service.

Cashiers refusing refunds, forcing to take store credit instead. Refused refund claiming it's not the card the item has been purchased with - which I have proven otherwise. Absolutely useless manager, would not admit a fault either with the cashier or the system leaving the customer without the refund. While waiting for the manager one of the staff members whispered (loud enough) "you should have closed the doors" as it was 20 minutes before closing time. Overall experience was horrendous, will not be using the store anymore, much better off at Wickes a mile away.

I would just like to say what excellent service we received today. We needed a pressure washer and asked a man called James where they were. Although he was very busy he took us to where they were and gave us infortmation about them which helped us buy the one we needed. He was friendly and so helpful and we will be telling family and friends as in a lot of places you never get this amazing customer service. Thank you
