The breakfast box has always been my go-to, it's always freshly cooked, great quality ingredients and such friendly staff and always delivered with care, great price as well! ??

messaged and received a lovely cooked breakfast, service is amazing and good equally as good! Also enjoy visiting the cafe, it's the essence of what a community cafe is. Absolute gem of a cafe!

Coffee is the worst machine coffee ever that I've had out, bitter and the Froth looked like washing up bubbles. As it's a cafe not sure why a decent barista coffee isn't served ? Cake slices are all about £3 upwards. The service was friendly and quick but the coffee sadly let it down. Great views and lovely to sit outside.

Lovely cafe at Stanwick Lakes - handicap parking, doors and loos, dog friendly, beyond fabulous staff, great food, lovely atmosphere, great place to meet for a chat
Dietary restrictions: Great range - happy to "tweak" meals if possible. Knowledgeable staff but they are happy to go ask Chef if they don't know the answer
Parking: You pay for access to the site, but can get a year long pass which is great value for money- 2 cars under 1 payment
Wheelchair accessibility: Doors open via pads, plenty of space, and all chairs are removable so can sit where you want. Loo is great and always clean

I eat here regularly with my daughter, when she has a day off work. The food is always lovely. Main meals offer vegan/ vegetarian/gluten free options, There is good choice of cakes and drinks. The home made soups are always really nice and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The menu isn't massive, but I wouldn't expect it to be in this setting and prices comparable to other cafes in the local / surrounding area .

We visited today, the lakes and park are fantastic. The cafe is a nice space, however the food is very of very poor quality and totally over priced. It cost just shy of £35 2 hot chocolate drinks, 3 teas. 1 child lunch box (no drink included) tiny pack of crisps, tiny choc bar, tiny apple and an uninspired sandwich 1 child?s nugget and chips ( 3 nuggets) 2 bacon baps 1 veggie bacon, 4 small strips of very burnt veggie bacon

Been meaning to go to stanwick .And craft weekend was on so even better. Loved the walks and lakes. The cafe sadly was overpriced .3.50 for tiny pot tea carrot had enough for one let alone two . Saw the offer was on for a bacon roll the queue was v long and half hour wait so decided go walk then come back .hungry I managed get a table hubby queued up one in front had their order refused as chef had audibly shouted out no more !! I am in my own that's it no more orders .So hubby had to walk away slightly embarrassed at the scene. . We had to go into wellingborough to have lunch .I can understand the chefs stress at being left to cook alone on such a busy weekend. Don't really understand why there weren't more staff to help in the kitchen. Knowing the amount of people would be visiting . Overall found prices very expensive and not a good experience watching staff having a meltdown. But can feel sympathetic at his plight coping.

Really good experience at Cafe Solar. Lots of choices for veggies like us. The sweet potato fries were wonderful. Cream tea was very good. Ice cream was a bit pricey at £4 per pot.

Used to be great place to eat - preCovid. Now... higher prices and smaller menu. 3 stars for location, food was ok.

Despite showing on the website that Cafe Solar at Stanwick Lakes is open, it is still closed for renovation as I discovered today when I went expecting to be able to have lunch on the terrace on this sunny day. Not even a sandwich available at the small outdoor cafe. Very disappointing.I have since contacted the organisation and a newsflash is now up on the website. Pity Cafe Solar won't be reopening till later in the autumn. The Visitor Centre is now only open at weekends.

Food was good. Large portions. Floor very slippery as made of tile. Be careful!
