A lovely village pub. Very busy, especially during peak times which means it can be a battle to find a seat inside however there is plenty of seating outside which is fine for nice weather. Drinks were reasonably priced although pricier than other local pubs nearby. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Great place to visit. Food was really good and the garden is just perfect for summer evenings. The service and atmosphere was pleasant but I think it was a mid week evening I visited so not tearing up trees in terms of liveliness. All in all, definitely worth a visit!

Amazing night at The Sun. The service & food was fantastic. Unfortunately the DJ music couldn?t be turned down and did become too loud in the restaurant to be able to have a conversation without shouting - it did become funny after a while. Overall though great night. Thank you.

Works night out for a quiz and food.
Service was fantastic there was alot going on and there were alot of staff working hard. With a big crowd of people for the 2 events taking place.
Food came out quickly and was delicious
We turned up for the quiz which was really fun the app used makes it very exciting picking your own music and team names so they can be read out and played as the night goes on. (It gets competitive)

We visited The Sun Inn for a meal and drinks on a Friday evening. We'd won a meal for 2 with wine voucher in a raffle so thought we'd have a bit of a date night. Unfortunately on arrival we discovered that we had booked our romantic night out on the same evening they were holding a Sixth Formers party. The pub was heaving and there was a band on. Thankfully as we'd pre-booked we were given a nice table in a cosy corner. But the band playing for the party were so loud we could hardly hear ourselves speak. Obviously this is not the fault of the pub, it's just unfortunate our romantic night out didn't work out as such. As the pub was so busy, service was quite slow.It was a good 15 minutes before someone took our drinks order and another 15 minutes before they were brought to our table. Food was also slow coming out but when it did it was very good. We ordered a portion of nachos to share as a starter and they were honestly the best nachos I've ever had. Fluffy but crunchy and absolutely loaded with toppings. It was then another long wait for our mains to come out. Again, worth it though as the food was delicious. My husband had a steak and I had swordfish. Both meals were cooked to perfection and very, very tasty. We didn't bother with desert as nothing really took our fancy so we asked for the bill. Overall we had a night out, some nice wine and some delicious food. We will definitely be returning, just hopefully on a quieter evening next time!

Went to meet friends for drinks sat at empty table after under an hour was approached my staff to say they needed the table back, or we could stay if we wanted to do bingo. This was a half full pub with people having dinner near us. Had to wait for bar staff to finish chatting to be served it was quite no one else waiting to be served at the bar.

We popped in for a casual Friday evening meal. The atmosphere was good - cosy and welcoming, with a good vibe, and best of all, the food was really good. We had a lovely, relaxed evening.
