Rooms: The rooms are outfitted to an excellent standard with an incredible ensuite in place.
Safety: The security is very high - needing the swine your key card for entry makes it unlikely that an older key has been copied (I am aware electronics can be hacked, but this system did appear secure)
One easily solved issue was that the room rug was very easily tripped/slipped on as the rug had no anti-slip measures in place. The rug was simply rolled up and moved to the side. There was no difficulty and plenty of space in the room to accommodate this.

Clean and tidy in a good location for a short stay with compact rooms. Unsuitable for elderly or disabled as very steep staircase with no lift

Nice and cozy room, with kettle and tea/coffee available.
Meticulous cleaning done daily with towels available.

Great hotel to stay. Our room was surprisingly spacious, and was located next to a fire door, which had external key fob, which made it easier to get into our room, without the need to go into the main entrance.
Room was very clean, and well stocked with tea/coffee.

We regularly book rooms at the R Inn for business purposes. The staff are very accommodating; Vikki always goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. This is a lovely hotel to stay in. The location is great and is on a road with lots of shops and takeaway food options if you don't want to use on the on site restaurant.There is a large free car park to the rear of the property which felt safe to park in.The room was comfortable and had all the basic equipment. My only gripe was that there was nowhere to sit. I did find the room too warm for me but understand that this is personal preference and for others the temperature would probably be good. However there was a large fan provided so this helped by creating some airflow.The bed was very large and comfortable. It was two single mattresses pushed together to make a large bed. It was slightly uncomfortable over the join where the two mattresses met but I quickly got used to this and it did not affect my sleep.The bathroom was fantastic. The shower was a large walk in that was big enough to fit 2-3 people comfortably. It had two shower heads, a large fixed rainfall head and a movable traditional shower head. The temperature and pressure was great. There was also a separate bath which I did not use but was a good size and had a seat built into the side.Internet connectivity was excellent and was fast and reliable with speeds of 50+ mbps which was great to have.My only negative was the room I was in was next to the 24 hour access door and so this was noisy at times with people coming and going but this is only a small issue and would not affect others in different rooms.Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would happily stay again if I was in the area again
