A weekend away with family and we wanted fish and chips for our evening meal. Looked up fish and chips shops and chose Trawlers and glad we did
Great choice of food and very nice too. Portion sizes were very large and reasonably priced.
You can order online but we chose to collect. Staff were really nice and the shop was very clean ?

Awful. Bland. Ordered a bottle of vinegar but they didn't provide it. Not even vinegar on the chips. Awful awful waste of £40 order. Went in the bin. Called them and they couldn't care less

I asked for southern fried chicken breast and when I got home I realised I got given really dry chicken tighs, it has happened multiple times (how can someone work there and not know the difference between breast and tight, or maybe it's just lack of care) but this time I went back to have it replaced.
When I got there I was told they haven't got any so I asked for refund as I really didn't fancy old and dry chicken tighs. Even though I paid for breast which costs more I was refunded amount I'd pay for tighs so did mention that to lady that was processing it, after few seconds I was given the rest of the money. However, I could tell she wasn't happy that I asked for the money I actually spent and was rude while handing it to me. So all I can say is that their food quality is terrible! Dry chicken, undercooked chips, greasy cod that cost 7£ for a small piece, really thick gravy so probably sat there all day as it looked like lots of water evaporated. Customer service skills really poor, it seems like they really don't want to be there.
Even though it's my local chippie I've decided not to go there ever again and will spend my money somewhere else.
Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else too!

One staff member looked like she didn't want to be there, Not very friendly. Food looked good until got it home. Fish and chips dry and feel sure they were left overs from lunch time. I have had food before from the Trawler and usually good, but my family were very disappointed. We will not be going back. What a waste of £42 as food went in the bin.

Went in to order and no one wanted to serve me. The two girls were laughing and saying, "No, you serve her. I don't want to." This is not a great look or feeling for any customer. I will not be coming back.The only one who served me was lovely. I think her name is "Tiggy." She provided very good customer service. ??????????

Just a bit mediocre really. Haddock was indifferent, batter not very nice, and although loads of chips, they had a bland flavour. Also forgot my can of pop in the order. Just, meh.

What an absolute shambles ? asked for large donna kebab with salad, but the salad to be separate as I wanted to heat in the microwave later. Charged £1.65 extra for the salad! Not happy and not a great kebab ?

Trawlers laid on 60 take out meals for us for our quiz night in our village hall in Badby. Gluten free and veggie options catered for, all delicious and travelled well. This is our seond year using Trawlers and we will be back. Highly recommended them and at a great

In from out of town (Country). Local hotel dinner last night was not that good so decided to venture out, brisk winter walk and try it. So glad I did. Good service, loved the cod fish, big size too. Would rate a 4.5 if Yelp allowed 0.5 additions on rating. Very glad I stopped by!

Offer gluten free on a Wednesday which is good however, traveled there twice now to be told their fryer is not on, very disappointing. I mentioned that they advertise gluten free for Wednesdays to be told yes, I know and they?re sorry. I get it is a busy fish and chip shop and staff are rushing to serve customers but don?t advertise for something you cannot offer due to the fryer not being turned on. I am celiac.
