Have closed all branches except the main branch in Northampton Town centre, I cannot close my account without visiting the Lloyds branch where the mobile phone number listed for me on their computer has changed, I have had the same phone number for 25 years and they text me my balence on it everyday but according to them, thats NOT my number, so I cannot pass security checks, how ridiculous for a major bank, telephone help does not work, my only option to close my account is visit a branch I can park near in another town, ie Daventry.

1. Lloyds Daventry is closed in Fridays
2. When I wanted to close the Fixed Bond 1 year account because I changed my mind after 4 days, they charged me a fee of 27 pounds.
Don't want complain but it's not a pro customers attitude

Online says it shuts at 17:00, when you travel to the branch, it becomes apparent that they clock off at 15:30 (times on the door). Banks don't shut a 15:30.I think I need to find a new bank. I'd also gone to the Towcester branch yesterday to find it's shut altogether.
