I bought my son's bike from Leisure Lakes Bikes Daventry for just over £300 as a birthday gift. The service was great ? staff were friendly, helpful, and made the whole process smooth. We were really happy with the bike, but I?ll be visiting again soon as the tyre has gone flat. Overall, a positive experience and I?d definitely recommend them!

Not sure where to start with this, just absolutely let down, frustrated and angry. The whole experience from start to finish has been well below standard. absymal, embarrassing infact!
So I ordered a bike and 2 helmets, I received an email to say it would be 17 days, all good and I was happy to wait.
I noticed the helmets were showing up as not in stock, but I was assured they were. I managed to get hold of someone in customer service, who said they would split the order and send helmets early - so we could at least try them on. That never happened, and I heard nothing. zippo.
I then emailed them to ask if there was any update on helmets and never got a response (3 emails sent) I also tried to ring customer service in preston and never got anyone to pick phone up all day.
The following day (Friday) I received an email saying that the bike was built, and for me to ring for a delivery slot. I tried to ring all day on Friday and never got an answer. I then tried to ring all day Monday, but no one answered. I had to ring daventry store and get them to arrange delivery internally.
The bike has turned up and upon inspection the front mudguard has been bent out of shape and badly damaged, the helmets were rammed in and one was on top of the mudguard, the helmet box was caved in too and damage to helmets also. THIS IS NOT A COURIER ISSUE AS BOX WAS IN GOOD CONDITION UPON ARRIVAL. This bike and helmets were poorly packaged. Absolute shambles.
I then tried to ring preston customer services to complain and guess what??? they didn't answer the phone, AGAIN. couldn't make it up. Preston store also didn't answer - so I rang trusty ol' Daventry Store AGAIN and credit to them in that store, they're picking it up tomorrow.
I cannot recommend leisure lakes based upon the most appalling customer service I have ever received. The bike turning up so damaged that its unusable was the cherry on the cake.
My partner was looking forward to her first bike in years and now is disheartened to say the least. very off-putting experience

First class service from Leisure Lakes Daventry from our initial enquiry where we were taken through bikes that would be suitable for us, through to ordering and collection. On the day we were able to give the bikes a test run and Martin gave us a very thorough handover. A pleasure to deal with and great to have such knowledgeable people locally who we will certainly use in the future.

Fantastic customer service ? took my bike here and had first rate advice from the workshop teams. No upselling or terminology boggling. Came away thrilled and with a beautifully fixed bike. 10/10 recommend!

I picked up my new MTB today - the entire team were were extremely helpful, making the trip up from Essex very worthwhile. Particular thanks to Billie who provided the most thorough handover experience I?ve had anywhere with excellent product knowledge and attention to detail.
Oh, and they also do a very nice cup of coffee at their in-house cafe!??

I bought my bike here a few years ago, and took it back for service recently. I cannot fault the service I received in any way. All the guys on the team were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure I was totally happy with the outcome. Matt spent absolutely ages with me discussing the various options available to me. I cannot fault them and would recommend them without hesitation.
