A shoe shop unlike any other! Picked up a lovely pair of boots the other day and can't fault the staff or experience. The range of stock was incredible! Would definitely return.

Today I returned a pair of school shoes where the stitching had come undone after wearing 3 times. I paid just under 50 pounds for these shoes and would expect the stitching to last at least a few months or longer. This however is not the reason for my complaint. The fact I was told that this was 'not' a returnable defect and they would expect me to put a stitch in myself! Is my complaint! Now of course I have mountains of time to stitch up shoes! Working full-time and being a busy parent! The response to my return was ridiculous! After some strange conversation the shoes were reluctantly changed. The member of staff who served us seemed uncomfortable and shifty needing reassurance of what to do by another member of staff.. talking about how strange we were with our taking the shoes back. I have long supported the village shops and have never had any prior issues but this has absolutely put me off returning! Given the lack of after service and odd behaviour displayed by the staff for what was, and remains, a simple thing to resolve. WONT BE RETURNING. I'd avoid completely

Visited Faulkner's on my dad's recommendation and was not disappointed. Very welcoming and helpful staff and a large variety of footwear to suit everyone. Will definitely be returning in future.

My family have been using Faulkner's footwear for as long as I can remember and now I take my own children for their shoes. There's plenty of choice and the staff are a wonderful help.

Faulkner's is a great family-friendly shoe store with a very large variety of footwear for all ages. There are different price ranges and you can find pretty much anything from boots to school shoes to trainers. Although, it does lack designer and branded products so is not the best if you are looking for a very specific shoe. The customer service is great.

I have a child that has recently developed anxiety about trying on and buying shoes. The wonderful ladies have been patient and kind and didn't make us feel like we are too much trouble. They went above and beyond especially the manager. She came up with many creative ways in which to achieve buying the much needed shoes, whilst keeping my little one's anxiety to a minimum. Over a period of two weeks we managed to buy beautiful Clarks boots and beautiful Clarks shoes. I can't thank them enough.
