Really nice little countryside pub. I only had a beer, but it was nice. Staff and locals were friendly with a nice atmosphere.

This really is a hidden treasure. We were staying nearby and this was the closest place to eat! And what a discovery. A beautiful location in an old 14th Century building. My Steak and Mushroom pie was pure joy. And the local guests were si welcoming. This is a definite 'must visit'!!

All in all very good food at an affordable price. Depending on the sort of person you are the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, just how I like it. The pub itself was very rustic but to be eating in a 14th century pub I found very interesting. For family's and the older generation I give the pub 10 out of 10. Will definitely be going back down with my partner for a treat now and again.

We arrived without a booking at Sunday lunchtime, hopeful of a table. Sunday lunch was very good, choice of chicken, beef, pork or veggie options. Great to have properly cooked vegetables and not those shown a bit of steam. We sat in the bar area, however there is a dining room to the rear. We were served by Seterah (I hope I've remembered that), very polite and courteous. There is a car park to the rear. Accessibility is flat.

Fantastic that it was busy, really pleased to see the village pub doing so well, but it was really noisy.Having said that, prefer this to no atmosphere. Really lovely all
