What can I say, I was in poundland today and I am a regular customer because it's just one of those cheap and cheerfull kind of shops. Suffice to say that it can be at times stock very useful items. Selling from food, confectionary, Kitchen products, beauty and body products, gardening items and pet and DIY tools.
It's opened 7 days a week and even on Sundays when it closes at 4pm. Always try to bring your own bags because 99.9999999% of the time they rarely have plastic bags and only the bags that cost you £1 - £2 and that can easily mount up when you find yourself getting carried away throwing items in your trolley.
They have both the conventional tills and self serving tills so the option is there for the method that you prefer with the establishment taking Cash or Card.
Staff are always helpful with a smile on their face and always eager to help you out if you are looking for a specific item. Don't be scared to ask they really are that helpful and polite.
They have double doors so I would say wheelchair access is certainly accomodated with plenty of room and very easy to navigate in and out of the shop.
The layout never changes so if you are a regular you will know where everything is and can skip the isles you don't intend to visit for that quick nipping in and out (a little like i did today).
Shopping in Poundland is always a pleasant experience and I would highly reccommened giving this place a try as I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Try it out. Cheap Items, friendly staff, great service.

A lovely man named Rob always helps if needed, and it is a pleasure to talk to him.
He is most definitely an asset to Poundland.
