“Pharmicist was brilliant, got refered by NHS 111...thought it would be a waste of time. Turned out to be a very knowledgable and purposeful referal. Saved loads of time (hours) hanging about at the boating lake med centre. When your daughter has Scarlet fever (with potential comllications) and the docs are unattainable at any stage unless you head to Accident and Emergency...the Chemist was a worthwhile stop.”

“The Boots in Corby is a very well-sized pharmacy store that sells a little of everything you could need. I do agree with the other reviews that it needs a revamp since it's a very retro style and not in a good way. The staff here are lovely and I do love visiting here during the Christmas sales or just after Christmas because you get some good deals.I come to Boots to buy the odd thing I might need but I especially love buying holiday things here including suncream and they sell the brands I like here. The tills are a little confusing but I do like coming there to get the human interaction, there are no self-checkouts here but given how old everything is, I doubt this place will ever match the world we live in nowadays.”

“Having left Corby urgent care at 7pm on a Sunday evening, I was stunned to find a chemist open on a Sunday evening until 8pm. Kudos to both the chemist and the staff for offering such a fabulous late night service on a weekend.”

“Today was my final visit to this pharmacy since i’m moving gp practice shortly. My overall experience has been pleasant! It’s a big shame don’t open whatsoever on the weekends, and sometimes it seems like they pick and choose which hours they’re open. Typically though, just employees doing their job, who have to handle the mess ups of lakeside and forrest gate doctors. I’ve had many prescription issues, but i don’t put that down to the pharmacy at all. The staff have (usually) been very friendly and helpful.

Once when i was 18, i had an extremely rude man refuse me the medication for my mother, reasoning being “we just can’t give it to you.” Changed his mind after he saw my ID. Perhaps apply the think 25 process next time? Just ask me for ID if needed, instead of refusing me off the bat. I’ve never seen him since though, seems like you guys took the rubbish out! thank god! This incident is the only reason i cannot give you guys 5 stars, it peeves me even years later!!”

“Fantastic service. I popped in for advice because my daughter had a skin problem that wasn’t healing. The pharmacist had a look then asked her to pop into the consultation room. He asked her some questions and within five minutes he had prescribed and dispensed some antibiotic cream. I expected to either buy something over the counter or he directed to the doctor. He was cheerful, friendly and efficient.”

“The store seems great... Well stocked and laid out, etc. Staff are helpful. Unfortunately though, the boots website and the Google site both say the pharmacy is open on Sunday until 4:00. Due to a medication shortage, I had to have a prescription sent here instead of where I live. I drove a full hour to get here today only to find that since February the pharmacy has been closed on Sundays. This information was nowhere online or in the text that was sent to me to pick it up. Folks should be aware and boots needs to communicate a bit better.”

“The Boots pharmacy in Greenhill Rise is a great place that isn't my pharmacy but my partners and I love seeing that the staff there recognise him and are happy to help him out if needed. They know his details and swiftly sort out his medication. For those who say they never have your medication that's down to your doctor, not the pharmacy itself.it's a small shop and it does sell the basics, think of it as a convenience store of medical goods. There is also a consultant room that is always available. I think it's lovely and it meets the needs of people who live nearby.”

“We came here today to Thursfields Pharmacy in Corby to get our flu vaccinations, and the process was smooth; I could go on their website and select the service I needed, and then they offered the same day, which suited me wonderfully. Then we arrived, and the lady greeting us was excellent and told us that we could go straight in; the lady giving us the vaccinations was very clear about what was going on and how it would be done. I explained my deafness, and she was more than accommodating. I liked that everything was explained well and it's right by the town centre so it's convenient for me to visit there and they have not let me down, and I look forward to trying their other services as I think my positive experience encouraged me to get my health checked.”

“Brilliant place.Recent negative reviews are on here because the team were off with COVID.The replacements weren't on point agreed but it doesn't mean you then slate the original set up .I just don't understand why some people love stamping on people when they're down.”

“Got my drugs which had to be ordered in for next day. Called ahead as I had to catch a bus to collect. Poor girl serving was very stressed having already provided cover elsewhere this morning. I was in and out in time to get the next bus home ?I've read reviews of people who left 1 star. I would just say to remember to be kind. Maybe someone else is having a worse day than you are.”

“Felt i needed to write a review for the gentleman that delivered my shopping this morning. Unfortunately I didn't catch his name but what a true gentleman he was. An hour after he delivered he called us to double check that we had received everything we had ordered. Customer services at its finest!”
