“I recently visited Weldon with a group of friends for a long weekend. We visited both of the pubs in the village and found both to be friendly and welcoming, despite both being very busy on Friday and Saturday night. We visited the George Weldon on the Saturday for something to eat and a few beers. The pub was very busy but also friendly. We couldn't initially get seats together, due to the size of our group, but managed to get a couple of tables together a little later. We all ordered food, which was really tasty, service was very good and reasonably priced. We stayed for a few more beers, and couldn't fault the place. Lovely atmosphere, great service and very friendly. Well worth a visit.Food & drinks: Good range of home cooked food including pies, curries, burgers etc.Bar is well stocked with a good range of draught beers, lagers and ciders.”
