Absolutely awful experience. I returned a faulty phone and was promised a replacement, but over a week later I still have nothing. They gave me a Royal Mail tracking number, but it clearly shows the item was never even handed to Royal Mail ? just a label was created. No proof of dispatch, no refund, no communication, and no working support line to speak to anyone. They?re holding £455 of my money with zero accountability. I?ve had to chase constantly and still no resolution. Avoid this place ? completely untrustworthy.

Popped into the Corby store today. Staff were very nice, helpful and polite. Sold some stuff to them as well, absolutely fair offer and accepted. Was really pleased. Would recommend.

Really disappointed with CEX. I spent a lot of money on a Pixel Fold and was given a faulty phone. I returned it weeks ago and I?m still waiting for a replacement. No one can give me a proper update or even a working tracking number. Every time I ask, I?m told something different or nothing at all. I?ve now told them I need it back by the 9th of August as I?ll be away ? but no urgency from their side. Terrible service for such an expensive item.

Staff here are very inconsistent with other stores and feel like they are out to scam people... Traded in a xbox 360 remote that was immaculate condition only to be told it wouldn't get higher than a C grade. I listened to the staff thinking they must know what they are talking about, but my friend took a remote into another store which was clearly not as good condition and they got a B grade... in this scenario the difference in price is not much, however If they are being too harsh with grading, someone with a more valuable item is going to be severely ripped off. I was told during my visit that A grade is only for 'boxed' remotes which I feel is very misleading seeing as most items where a box is relevant state 'boxed' or 'unboxed'. I'm also not sure what they are really expecting from a console remote that stopped getting made at least 10 years ago, If a basically brand new one gets a C then other people trading into this store with used remotes won't stand a chance. Staff here need to undergo training to be more fair to customers ASAP

Absolutely horrible staff trying to make us pay for a Warenty item then say we bought something From 2022 when we bought it in 2024 disgusted
Edit: the person who was greatfully rude to me the the first time we haven't seen her since the matter. The matter was easily resolved by a manager that was super kind and friendly. she just ruined my experience that day.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Staff aren?t even on the same page and do not share the same information with each other. Promised full refund within 24hours of purchasing a controller if it didn?t work with the set up, came back the next day and said they can only give us a voucher because it?s a ?change of mind?. Absolutely ridiculous and will not be using their incompetent services again. Would be zero stars if it was an option!
