Closest gym to my house ? SO DIRTY , everything is broken, filled with men that don?t restack anything, mainly machines for men not enough glute and leg equipment. I?m not sure where £40 membership a month is going they?re not investing any of it into the gym . I wish there was a better gym near my house because this is not it

Absolute joke of a place. Half the equipment is broken, air conditioning hasn't been working for three months and membership is one of the most expensive about. Spoke to management about leaving due to kit broken and aircon and was reminded I'm tied into a 12 month contract.
So if you're into paying top money to work out in a limited equipment, hot and humid environment then this is the place to be.

I have been a member for over 5 years and previously rated at 5 stars but things really started to fall apart this year (broken equipment, no AC, leaking roof). It's a shame because it used to be a great gym.

Ignore the suspicious recent 5* reviews below. I?ve been a member of this gym for over a year. I?m not sure what amazing equipment they?re referring to, but the following is broken, most of which has been for several months.
- 2 treadmills (only 2 working left)
- 1 stair master
- 1 bike machine
- 1 seated row machine
- 1 bathroom out of order
Air conditioning has been broken since July. Fans have been scattered around to (poorly) help circulate air around the gym.
The front roof is leaking and has been for 5-6 weeks. Buckets left in front of the treadmills to catch the dropping water.
However they truly have amazing staff at the place, they deserve better from whoever the franchise owner is.

I went in for a look around with my son. (I was let in by a customer, as there wasn?t a staff member in sight.) The lighting was poor, the aircon wasn?t working and quite a few of the exercise machines had ?out of order? signs on them.
Suffice to say that we didn?t join.

Gym is falling apart. Air conditioning failed, water is coming through the ceiling, numerous machines are broken and take weeks to get fixed. Colleague joined on a months trial and got told he couldn?t have a key fob as there is a national shortage. Everything has to get approved by a director to get fixed. Really gone downhill. Pay a bit extra and go elsewhere. Only benefit is able to use other AF gyms that are better gyms and cleaner.

Unfortunately, after a few months I have a very negative opinion. When registering, there is no information about a 12-month contract. Charging additional costs. They sent an SMS about the payment... I paid and I've been waiting for the key to be turned on for a week now. Key not turning on after payment. Toll reminders and not turning on the key. Very incompetent gym. I do not recommend. I've had enough .

Avoid this gym at all costs. I signed up for a 3 month membership. I paid for my 3 month membership however was informed I did not cancel properly. They bombarded me with emails and texts. I am in severe debt and extremely depressed at the moment. Today this gym has sent my account to a debt recovery company even though I have informed them I have no money and kept to my end of the contract. The debt comoany want £157. I cant afford this as i dont even have money for food. I have had enough of everything, i informed them this is causing me to be suicidal and they ignored me. This has been the Icing on the cake to my debt and depression struggles. Don't end up feeling like me.
