The Windhover a beautiful place set by the roundabout. A large carpark at the rear with easy access. The food abit over price for the quality but service ; really good.

I came for a mid week meal. We decided to have 2 starters & some chips instead of mains. We ordered and it took 1hr15 to arrive in dribs and drabs. We asked for butter 3 times (for bread) had to double check a gluten free meal as it wasn?t clear and the servers were rushed off their feet - but the restaurant wasn?t busy.

A fabulous spot to eat,quality food great ambiance and fantastic service,slightly more expensive than general pub but absolutely worth the few extra pennies as the food is top quality and cannot fault it,we?re back there in a week or so and cannot wait to go again 5 stars from us ? ????????

Stopped for lunch on the way down to going on holiday. Server was really friendly.
Didn't have the starter I wanted so ended up having the mushrooms, which were unfortunately quite tasteless. My partners Calamari was really nice.
I had the pork belly roast, which was nice and was brought extra gravy when asked. Unfortunately couldn't eat the parsnips as they had been completely overcooked. My partner had the chicken skewer which overall was nice but unfortunately couldn't eat some of the pieces of chicken on the end as they were rock hard.
Portion sizes were good and prices OK.

I needed a quick poo and the staff were lovely. They didn't question me running in and out of the pub without ordering anything. I rate this pub for their discretion and understanding.

Super slow service, elements of dishes missing but not advised, deserts swapped without checking if ok. No idea of how to make an Irish coffee as they thought it should be with Baileys!!
