We arrived and it was heaving. Neverthelesswe were taken to our table straight away, and the waitress came up and took our orders. The food was hot , excellent and delicious. The sweet was to die for. The waitress -Louise was excellant, and friendly. O, to have more like her in other restaurants, helps make it a memorable day. Going back again soon !!

The serving staff were all very pleasant, and we were at a pleasant table, but the meal was not good . The beef was very overcooked, despite ordering ?pink? when given the choice. When this was pointed out we were told ?all the beef is overcooked today?. The roast vegetables, including the vegetarian roast, were all virtually incinerated, apart from the roast potatoes which looked like new potatoes smeared with grease. We dared not risk dessert!
We have eaten here many times in the past and never been disappointed, but we will not be hurrying back after our meal last Sunday.

Nice pub in a lovely location, lots of outdoor space, kids play area and outdoor BBQ in the summer.
We visited on a Sunday, we booked a table online and were seated straight away when we arrived, the menu had a good choice of options.
The problem for me was while the food was good it didn't meet the expectation. When you are paying £25 for a Sunday roast you expect quite alot (quality and variety) and it didn't deliver. The veg was not great, couple of roast carrots, some leak and cabbage, and quite a few roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding was very dry, stuffing was a cube cut from a tray. Meat was OK nothing more.
We were both happy with the food, just fell it was not worth the money.

Bank holiday Monday arrived at 11-15 to an empty restaurant The reception was poor we felt like we were intruding, the food which took over an hour to arrive was very disappointing muffins that couldn?t be cut because they were so hard ( microwaved I think) all of our breakfasts were served on cold plates, cold baked beans, hard and watery poached eggs. Not enough care by anyone extremely disappointing. We mentioned this to our teenage waitress but she was far too young to do anything other than shrug her shoulders.

Had a much needed meal and pints here after a long cycle ride up and down the Brampton Valley Way, which this is very conveniently situated next to. Service & food was brilliant, and we sat outside on a lovely day. Would have been perfect but for the music playing outside which would have been ideal for a seaside beach bar, but just spoiled things for us in the lovely Northants countryside. Personal preference, but just felt it was really out of place.

We had our wedding ceremony and evening event at Brampton halt. It was perfect from the staff who bent over backwards to the BBQ selection. Thank you so much ?

It's a beautiful place on such beautiful grounds. Pet friendly and child friendly - place to walk with the dog and a child's play area which is relatively new what more can you ask for. Food is slightly more pricier but you get great service and a decent meal. It's the convenience that Brampton Halt brings to people with it's location, grounds and choice of seating whether thats barside indoor seating or outdoor. I would definitely recommend for the attention to detail for customer convenience. I've been here several times and have always enjoyed it.

Lovely place, only discovered it last week and been twice, lovely setting, plenty of outside space with lovely lights around , delicious food and evening entertainment was great, staff are friendly and very helpful, definitely one of my new favourite places to meet up with friends

Hired marquee to host my niece?s baby shower. The marquee was private, own private outdoor seating and bar. Perfect for entertaining guests with games. 29 of us pre ordered 1 selection from the BBQ. The food was amazing and everyone commented on it. The ladies serving behind the bar were great and helpful throughout.
