Very nice place for a coffee before visiting the gardens. Staff were very nice and the espressos were good and in a proper cup and saucer instead of horrible throw away cups. Will visit again

Good coffee! Friendly staff! Beautiful setting! Lots of vegan options with the cakes (didn't look at the full menu)! The cakes weren't labeled vegan though, we had to ask if any were and they checked and to our surprise there were about 4 or 5 vegan cakes/sweet treats. Id suggest labelling them as you'll definitely sell more! We had the vegan chocolate and orange cake which was delicious and not too heavy - perfect!

Wonderful relaxing place round the side of Ashby house which just seems your a hundred miles from nowhere set in a walled courtyard position .
Reasonable selection of hot/cold food to select from found the coffee especially pleasing,plenty of seating inside and out,the staff seemed helpful,polite with a genuine mannerism all making for a lovely place to visit .

I've been here several times, lovely outdoor seating area with beautiful plants and an outdoor play area to occupy the children.
Inside is not as good as the outdoor seating but it has an amazing play room at the end of the tea room, lovely set up. Lots of toys and books and the perfect place to let your child play within view from the table.
It's a great place to meet and catch up with the children for this main reason.

I have eaten here in the past and the food was ok I have recently sent emails to see if they do afternoon tea. There's no phone number to make contact I had to email the offices to get an email for the café I sent a further email but still I've been ignored
They don't deserve any customers

I went for the first time four weeks ago with my nieces and sister in law - being treated - and it surely was a lovely morning. We stayed for two hours and had the most delicious breakfast, served by a lovely person who told me I?d made the best choice of tomatoes, homemade pesto and balsamic on sourdough toast - try it if you go! I am taking my ward there tmw for a Sunday treat !

Stopped here for coffee and a cake when visiting the Castle Ashby Gardens. Arrived when they first opened on a nice sunny day. The coffee and cake was very nice and fortified us for a visit to the Gardens. Upon our return from the Gardens we stopped for an early lunch comprised of a toasted sandwich and chips. This was really nice, sat outside in the sun. The cafe was busy with a number of diners who were here for lunch and not visiting the Gardens, which is a good recommendation. We were very happy with the standard of food and service from the staff. Mediocre at best. Stopped for ploughman?s that was ok (edible) with unsmiling customer service from all staff. Pity as it?s a gorgeous location - needs a manager who cares.

Lovely food. Then you can enjoy a walk around the gorgeous garden for £10pp. It's not just any old garden. The kids will love the meerkats.Kid-friendliness: Great play area where parents can sit close by. The garden has many hidden treasures and is child and dog friendly.
