Nice village pub. Friendly service throughout. All the classic staple dishes plus a few extras. We did like the separate vegan / vegetarian menu.
Good value £32 each for 3 courses and 2 drinks each.

Always a fantastic welcome and good well priced food at the stag. Lovely cosy interior varied specials on the board.
We pop in regularly and it?s always busy which is testament to the quality of the place.

Beautiful location. Food was nice but each time we've been the staff have been miserable and borderline rude. I'm not sure we'll visit again when other places are a lot more welcoming.

We stayed for one night whilst visiting family, all staff were really friendly, Rob?s food was really good, the beef and ale pie was the best I?ve had, great portions too. The pub is in a peaceful location, with lovely gardens. Highly recommend, we will definitely stay here again ?

Popped in on the off chance and was pleased that we did. Timothy Taylor Landlord was well kept and made for a good pint. We had the fish finger sandwich which was really very good. Staff were friendly. It was a Monday lunchtime too and there were a good number of guests which is always a good sign. So for an off the cuff visit I really cannot fault The Stag.

Popped in for a Sunday lunch (2 x beef) en route to Wolverhampton. Very nice food at a reasonable price, friendly staff and a selection of beers. Thank you, will definitely go again if feeling peckish when that way again ?
