A friendly local pub offering reduced prices for us over 60s, as well as for our younger adult children with kids of their own . Food was well prepared, well served to us. Slightly longer than usual waiting time though - 30 mins. during what was a quite Tuesday lunchtime.

Its our local pub. Great traditional pub but also has great specials. All the staff are welcoming and helpful. Food always great.
Vegetarian options: Few good veggie and vegan options.
Dietary restrictions: Accommodate gluten diets when informed. Never had an issue.
Kid-friendliness: Happy to have kids there, as long as supervised by parents/adult.
Also great about dogs inside and outside the pub.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible in most areas though the person using a wheelchair may need additional support at busy times, as you can struggle to get to the bar or move around. Most people are more than happy to help out, real community feel.

What a wonderful find!
After a good 3 hour walk we were ready for something to eat & drink.
We sat outside & the young waitress/bar lady couldn't have been any more pleasant.
Our food was brought out to us & the Sunday roast was absolutely delicious & plenty of it. The prices were very good too.
Highly recommended & we will definitely be back!
