The tills are too small to do a decent shop. You fill the conveyor belt with half a trolley full and don?t have room to empty the rest. Loads of empty tills with large queues at the open ones. Not enough staff.

Some staff are rude and ignore you and continue their conversations

It's important to note that the Scan and Shop systems at Tesco and other grocery stores are intended to provide customers with a fast and convenient shopping experience. The idea is for customers to collect their grocery items quickly, proceed to a Scan and Shop checkout till, pay by card, and then leave the store without any unnecessary delays.
In reality, however, the system doesn't always function as intended. The store's technology often fails to recognize when a customer has scanned all items in their cart and is ready to pay at the till quickly, as it should be. Instead, store workers stop customers from paying at the till and have to rescan customers' cart items, which defeats the purpose of a quick and easy shopping experience.
Moreover, despite the presence of door security alarms, store cameras, and on-site security workers, customers are still inconvenienced by having to wait for workers to rescan their items at the till. Scan and Shop is then a nonexistent quick shop service.
A specific incident at Lakeview Tesco Bicester involved waiting for a Tesco worker to rescan over 60 items in the cart, significantly delaying the shopping experience. In such cases, going to a regular cashier for a quicker checkout would have been more efficient. Scanning and shopping for a fast in-out shopping experience is useless at Tesco stores.
M&S grocery and Sainsbury Scan and Shop experience is so much better. Their workers are more efficient at providing customers with a quick and pleasant Scan and Shop shopping experience than at Tesco.
In conclusion, there is a need at all grocery stores, especially Tesco, for updated in-store SMART technology with AI to ensure a seamless, faster, and honest Scan and Shop customer shopping experience. Out with the old in with AI. Come on Tesco, Tesco's loyal customers deserve better service for all the money spent at Tesco stores.

I managed to get locked out of my car in Tesco's car park today....with my kids inside! I spoke to about 8 different staff members while I waited several hours in the rain for recovery: they were all so lovely and helpful! They loaned me an umbrella and a jacket, brought me cups of tea, made lots of helpful suggestions and generally offered moral support. Thanks so much-you made a really horrible situation bearable!

Will not go here any more. How can Tesco be 5p a litre more than my local shell garage. The supermarkets are exploiting the public. Absolutely disgraceful from Tesco. Switch to Asda
