Staff very friendly, Food wasn't great quality, location quite big with a lot of parking!!

Arrived at 11:50 , the barman informed me of anything I can't have , great start.
Had 2 adult Sunday dinners , 2 kids.
It's obviously packet food , edible but poor.
The kids Sunday dinner is £6.95
The adult is £12.95.
The difference is one slide of meat.
Confirmed by the waitress, she was polite bless her.
Very disappointing, didn't stop for dessert.

The food is always great here. I would recommend the hot dog as it is amazing. Always a great atmosphere in this place too.

I have come to The Chequered flag for a while now and the staff are fantastic and always engage with us customers! My favourite dishes are the Mixed grill and the hunters chicken, you get so much food for the amazing price. The place is decorated lovely and very good if you have children as a good variety of children?s dishes on the children?s menu and a bonus with a playground in garden. The service is delivered fast with bubbly workers checking up on our food. I highly recommend this pub will be coming back here very soon.

My family and friends all came down for a birthday meal at the weekend and it was incredible! When we arrived we got seated quickly and was welcomed very nicely by our waitress, our table was also set out for all 13 of us all ready. Our favourite dishes we ordered were the Rump Steaks, Spicy beef burger, Steak and ale pie and the American Hot dog, these dishes were delicious and so full of flavours. As well as the food being absolutely incredible, the service was on point with all the staff and waitresses being super polite and friendly. I highly recommend this family pub for big groups like ours as there is many parking options and suitable for everyone including a pool table, kids area with toys, TVs and a playground for children in the garden area.
Will definitely bring coming back here 10/10 recommend for everyone!

Visiting relatives , just down the road ...popped in for a cold drinks ..... huge pub , plenty of room . Good variety of drinks ...we both elected for INCHES cider nice. Small gathering by the bar watching the Olympics. Menu looking good , themed days ...good idea . For people with little humans ...play area . And outside beer garden . ... Will return .
