I've placed an order for collection at 20.40. After arriving at the restaurant to collect my order is not even on the system and I am now waiting for a rush order to be cooked, on my wifes birthday. Also the staff have offered me no hospitality for the inconvenience. Shocking

Been here a few times when visiting my son in college. Food has always been good, service was good last time. We all enjoyed our meal.

Great tasting food, fast service, the staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Great food but had the rudest interaction with Mike on the phone. I always order chilli chicken ramen from deliveroo and call to remove beansprouts which is done every time, however, I talked to Mike today and he did not listen to me, asked me to stop talking as I was explaining the issue and then hung up on me, with no confirmation whether the beansprouts were removed or not. The order came with beansprouts.

My first Wagamama experience was when I visited the Harrogate branch a couple of years ago, when I left feeling very underwhelmed.
Fast forward a couple of years and we were in York, all hungry, and walking past Wagamama, so my wife and son suggested we go in for dinner.
This was a million miles away from my first experience: great service and amazing food - the best I've had in ages.
We shared roti + raisukatsu and I had silken tofu gochujang rice bowl for my main course.
The food was simply amazing, so fresh and incredibly tasty.
I'm now a Wagamama convert...

First ever visit to Wagamama and boy, I was impressed.
Thanks to Jasmine Trinity for her amazing service, she helped us from start to finish and was a joy.

As a loyal customer of wagamama all over the country, this time in York I was so disappointed with the quality of the service we got. Service was alright and it was a good start when food arrived in less than 10min of ordering. But it went downhill from the point we tasted the food... First of all the food was overly salty, to the point that we had to leave some of the food on a plate because of that reason. Secondly, as a person who is not keen on meat I ordered a salad bowl with pulled shiitake mushrooms, which was mixed with other mushrooms underneath and the flavour profiles didn't match between the bits for supposed shiitake mushrooms. My partner had a beef brisket rice bowl which was so salty that it was impossible to eat, even plain rice didn't help to balance the taste.
Overall, a highly disappointing visit this time, food was the worst i ever had from any wagamama restaurants i ever been to... I really hope that this place will improve, to the same standard as the other locations.

1st Nov 24, Party of 6 showed to our table by staff, close to the toilets and was aware of smell of drains .. ordering from the menu was poor as there was item shortage.. on visiting the toilets saw toilet bowls backed up with sewage hence the smell,.. reported to manager who said they were aware of the drainage issues ongoing fro August
